SE Louisiana adds pair from Conference USA
Hammond, LA (Sports Network) - Southeastern Louisiana football has added a pair of transfers from Conference USA programs, defensive back Todd Washington from Memphis and tight end Antoine Duplessis from Tulane.
Head coach Mike Lucas announced both players are enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana and will participate in spring practice, which begins March 14.
Washington, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound sophomore from Lutcher, La., has three years of eligibility remaining. He played in nine games with six starts as a true freshman for Memphis, totaling nine tackles and tying for the team lead with two interceptions.
Duplessis, a 6-2, 260-pound senior from Violet, La., has one year of eligibility remaining. He played in 22 games (with 12 starts) over two seasons and was Tulane's starting fullback in 2009. He averaged 5.8 yards per carry while catching eight passes and a touchdown.
