NCAA Game Summary - Kentucky at Arkansas

Fayetteville, AK (Sports Network) - Tyler Wilson threw for 372 yards and
five touchdowns as the Arkansas Razorbacks routed the Kentucky Wildcats 49-7
in a Southeastern Conference bout at Razorback Stadium, in a weather-shortened game.
Wilson completed 23-of-31 pass attempts in the game for Arkansas
(3-4, 2-2 SEC) which has now won back-to-back games for the first time this
season. Jonathan Williams caught three passes for 150 yards and two
touchdowns.
Dennis Johnson rushed for 82 yards and a pair of scores.
Jalen Whitlow and Morgan Newton shared quarterbacking responsibilities for
Kentucky (1-6, 0-4) combining for 4-for-15 passing for 104 yards and a
touchdown. The Wildcats had only 177 yards of total offense and have now lost
five straight.
Arkansas struck quickly in the contest. After forcing a three and out from
Kentucky the Razorbacks got a 74-yard touchdown pass from Wilson to
Williams on their first time on offense.
Dennis Johnson ran it in from three yards out midway through the first quarter
to stretch the Razorback lead to 14-0.
Play was then suspended for an hour and six minutes due to lightning.
The Razorbacks picked up right where they left off after the delay with Wilson
throwing three more touchdown passes. The first was a five-yard strike to
Johnson. The second a 77-yard pass to Williams and the third an eight-yarder
to Javontee Herndon.
Johnson scored on a two-yard rushing touchdown less than two minutes before
halftime as the Razorbacks' lead grew to 42-0.
Wilson threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Julian Horton to extend the
Razorbacks' lead to 49-0 early in the second half.
Kentucky finally got on the board midway through the third quarter on a 61-
yard touchdown pass from Whitlow to La'Rod King.
Kentucky had 533 yards of total offense and converted all five of its red
zone trips into touchdowns.
