Harrison Barnes had four points during the sequence and Curry drove in for a finger roll with 4.1 seconds on the clock to stake Golden State to a 66-52 cushion heading into the break.

"We lost our mental toughness at the end of the second quarter and they were able to get out on us," Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer said.

The Warriors led 85-77 after three before putting the game away with a 12-0 flurry to start the fourth.

Draymond Green capped the burst with a 3-pointer for a 97-77 Golden State margin midway through the frame. The hosts cruised to the easy win from there.

Earlier, the Warriors held a 32-31 edge following a quarter of play.
