NCAA Game Summary - Gonzaga at Pacific

Stockton, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kevin Pangos poured in 18 points as the Gonzaga Bulldogs clinched the West Coast Conference regular season title with a 70-53 victory over the Pacific Tigers at the Spanos Center.

Drew Barham chipped in 17 points for Gonzaga (24-6, 14-3 WCC) as it won the conference regular season crown for the second consecutive season. Przemek Karnowski posted nine points and nine rebounds, while Gary Bell, Jr. netted nine points.

For the Tigers (14-14, 5-12), T.J. Wallace scored a team-high nine points on 3-of-10 shooting from the floor. Aaron Short pulled down nine boards and dealt out five assists as Pacific suffered its fourth consecutive setback.

Gonzaga took a 40-28 lead into the break after they knocked down 4-of-10 attempts from 3-point range and converted 12-of-15 shots at the free-throw line in the first half. The Tigers were limited to 30.8 percent efficiency from the floor before the intermission.

Pacific continued to struggle as it was held to just 31 percent shooting from the field in the second half. The Bulldogs sank 42.9 percent of their field goal tries and assisted seven of their nine makes from the floor over the final 20 minutes of the contest.

Gonzaga outscored the hosts, 36-24, in the paint and also, 21-13, at the charity stripe.
