Cape Girardeau, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Tyler Stone logged 20 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, as the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks held off the Austin Peay Governors, 83-80, in an Ohio Valley Conference clash at the Show Me Center.

Jarekious Bradley netted 16 points off the bench for SEMO (16-13, 7-8 OVC), winners of three straight. Also scoring in double figures was Nino Johnson (14), Antonius Cleveland (12) and Josh Langford (11), while Lucas Nutt handed out six assists.

Travis Betran paced all scorers with 28 points for APSU (11-18, 5-10), which has lost four in a row. Ed Dyson added 20 points, Will Triggs netted 15 and Chris Horton brought down 13 rebounds for the visitors.

SEMO shot a lofty 61.5 percent from the field in the first half and carried a 40-34 lead into intermission. APSU made good on just 36.7 percent of its tries from the floor but kept the game within striking distance thanks to a 10-of-12 showing at the free-throw line.

The Governors came back to tie the game at 59 with 9:57 to play, but the Redhawks separated themselves with an 18-7 run over the next seven minutes. APSU wouldn't go quietly, using a late rally to get within two points of the lead with 16 seconds left, but it could not complete the comeback.

APSU committed a game-high 18 turnovers, which SEMO converted into 22 points.
