Description: The Tampa Bay Lightning have re-signed Dwayne Roloson for one year at $3 million. TSN
Insight: Roloson seemed to solve the Lightning's goaltending woes after he was acquired from the Islanders midway through the season. Expect Roli to be the Bolts' starting goalie for at least one more season.

Description: Dwayne Roloson allowed one goal on 38 shots in the Lightning's 1-0 loss to Boston in Game 7 on Friday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: The difference in the game was a goal that Roloson allowed to Nathan Horton midway through the third period. Statistically, this game was Roloson's best since his shutout of Pittsburgh in Game 7 of the first round. Rolie has been a big-time clutch goalie throughout his career, as this loss was his first in eight career elimination games.

Description: Dwayne Roloson has been named the Lightning's starter for Game 7 against Boston on Friday. TSN
Insight: Roloson has struggled against the Bruins in this series, as he has been pulled twice and allowed four goals on 20 shots despite winning in Game 6. Lightning coach Guy Boucher proved that he was not afraid in starting Mike Smith, as was the case in Game 5. But it appears that the Bolts' season will rest on the 41-year-old's shoulders.

Description: Lightning coach Guy Boucher said that Dwayne Roloson would be the team's starting goalie for Game 6. NHL.com
Insight: Boucher seemed a little more clear in naming his starting goalie for Game 6 than he was for Game 5. Boucher admitted after Game 5 that Roloson needed a rest and that Mike Smith deserved the opportunity. He is probably better off going with the goalie that got the team to this point than a goalie that has hardly played over the past few months.
5/21/2011 2:31:00 PM
Description: Dwayne Roloson was replaced by Mike Smith during the first period of Game 4 against Boston on Saturday after Roloson allowed three goals on nine shots. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Roloson has been pulled in two of his last three starts, while he has allowed 11 goals over his last three starts. Prior to Game 2 against Boston, Roli had not allowed more than three goals in any playoff game this season. We'd be surprised if Lightning coach Guy Boucher does not elect to go back to Roloson for Game 5 despite yet another rough outing.

Description: Dwayne Roloson was pulled after the second period in Game 2 against Boston after he allowed six goals on 27 shots. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Mike Smith, who replaced Roloson in the third period, stopped all eight shots he faced. Despite the rough effort in Game 2, Roli should be back between the pipes for Game 3. He had allowed only 25 goals in his 12 previous playoff games, so his remarkable play should make him a favorite for the Conn Smythe Trophy.
5/14/2011 11:22:00 PM
Description: Dwayne Roloson made 31 saves in the Lightning's 5-2 win over Boston in Game 1 on Saturday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: With the win, Roloson has now reeled off eight consecutive wins. He is the first goalie over 40 years of age to perform that feat since Jacques Plante did so in 1969. The 41-year-old netminder has been a major reason for the Bolts' success in this year's playoffs.

Description: Dwayne Roloson stopped all 36 shots he faced in the Lightning's 1-0 win over Pittsburgh in Game 7 on Wednesday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Over his career, Roloson is 6-0 in elimination games, becoming only the second goalie to post such an impressive feat. Roloson did not allow more than three goals to the Crosby and Malkin-less Penguins during the series. His Bolts overcame a 3-1 series deficit to defeat the Pens, and they will now face the Washington Capitals in the second round.
4/20/2011 11:53:00 PM
Description: Dwayne Roloson made 50 saves in the Lightning's 3-2 double overtime loss to Pittsburgh in Game 4 on Wednesday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: In comparison, Marc-Andre Fleury only had to make 29 saves in the double overtime match. Roloson's goaltending was a big reason that the Bolts were able to stay in this game, but the goals he allowed were relatively soft. Even though the Bolts trail 3-1 in the series, the 41-year-old goalie has not allowed more than three goals in any of the four games.

2/26/2011 9:05:00 AM
Description: Roloson needed to make just 19 saves to top the Devils 2-1 Friday night.
Insight: This was the first time since his Feb. 1 shutout that Roloson held an opponent under three goals and just the second time since then that his save rate reached .900. His team helps him, but Roloson will have to deliver more saves to instill fantasy confidence. (RapidDraft.com)
2/18/2011 7:01:00 AM
Description: Roloson yielded six goals in Thursday night's loss to Detroit.
Insight: Whatever magic the veteran brought with him following the trade from the Islanders seems to have worn off. He pitched a shutout in the first game after the all-star break, but has allowed at least three goals in five straight with a 4.60 GAA over that span. (RapidDraft.com)
2/2/2011 12:01:00 PM
Description: Roloson stopped all 38 Flyers shots Tuesday night for his fourth shutout in a month since joining the Lightning via trade.
Insight: Despite mixing in three four-goal outings during his month with Tampa Bay so far, Roloson has posted GAA (1.82) and save-percentage (.932) numbers over that stretch that would rank second in the league for the season. (RapidDraft.com)
2/2/2011 12:02:00 AM
Description: Dwayne Roloson stopped all 38 shots he faced in the Lightning's 4-0 win over Philadelphia on Tuesday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Roloson has now recorded shutouts in consecutive games, as he blanked the Leafs last Tuesday. He has also reeled off five consecutive wins, so he is still firmly entrenched as the Bolts' starting goalie even though Mike Smith was recently activated.
1/25/2011 11:09:00 PM
Description: Dwayne Roloson stopped all 26 shots he faced in the Lightning's 2-0 win over Toronto on Tuesday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Roloson posted his third shutout of the season, and the shutout also happens to be his third goose egg this month. He has also posted four consecutive wins for the Lightning, who now sit third overall in the NHL. Roli has a 7-3-0 record since joining the Bolts, so he appears to be firmly entrenched as the team's new starting goalie.
1/23/2011 11:01:00 PM
Description: Roloson won his third straight game Sunday, allowing just one goal on 22 shots.
Insight: Roloson has allowed two goals or fewer in each of those victories. His season GAA still sits at 2.61, 22nd in the league. (RapidDraft.com)
1/19/2011 12:01:00 AM
Description: Roloson bounced back from allowing nine goals over his past two outings to yield just two in Tuesday night's shootout win.
