Insight: Stamkos missed 45 games with a broken tibia. Stamkos is one of the top players in the NHL and will be able to produce with anyone, but it certainly doesn't help that he won't have St. Louis as a linemate. He played on a line with Teddy Purcell and Alex Killorn for most of Thursday.

Insight: Stamkos missed 45 games with a broken tibia. He'll return to a changed landscape in Tampa Bay, as the Lightning traded longtime forward Martin St. Louis to the New York Rangers for Ryan Callahan on Wednesday.
