Insight: That's good new for the goaltender who played the Stanley Cup Finals with a torn groin. He should be fine for the beginning of next season.

Insight: That is quite heroic of him, but he and his team fell short. Bishop made 30 saves and allowed two goals in Game 6 as Chicago won, 2-0. Bishop finished the postseason 13-11 with a .924 save percentage.

Insight: Bishop allowed an unfortunate goal in the first period after colliding with a teammate that led to an easy goal by Patrick Sharp. The good news is Bishop managed to play the whole game, and should be fine for a do-or-die Game 6.

Insight: We may not know until game-time. Andrei Vasilevskiy is the other option and the 20-year old did a nice job as a replacement in Game 2, even earning the victory.

Insight: He had a 1-0 lead entering the third, but gave up two goals in less than a two minute span, with under eight minutes remaining in the game. Bishop made 19 saves on 21 shots, and will look to rebound on Saturday night.

Description: Lightning goalie Ben Bishop joined elite company as he earned his second Game 7 shutout this postseason as Tampa Bay defeated New York, 2-0, and advanced to the Stanley Cup.
Insight: Patrick Roy and Tim Thomas are the only other goaltenders to earn two shutouts in Game 7 in one postseason. Bishop stopped all 22 shots he faced. He finished with a .889 save percentage, but Bishop won four games and that is what counts.

Insight: Bishop allowed five goals on 26 shots, and was done in by the three goals he gave up in the third period. He will be back in net for a do-or-die Game 7.

Description: Lightning goalie Ben Bishop stopped all 26 shots he faced to lead Tampa Bay to a 2-0 victory and a 3-2 lead in the series.
Insight: Bishop has stopped 131-of-145 in the series, 90.3 percent. Not great, but good enough to win three games so far and slightly better than Henrik Lundqvist.

Description: Lightning goalie Ben Bishop played very well again, saving 35 shots as Tampa Bay beat the New York Rangers, 6-2, in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday.
Insight: Bishop made a huge save when the Lightning were only leading, 3-2. The big save kept the one-goal lead intact, and enabled Tampa Bay to go on the offensive and score three unanwered goals in the third period. Bishop is 9-6 this postseason.

Description: Lightning goalie Ben Bishop played extremely well in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, but Tampa Bay lost, 2-1.
Insight: The Rangers really dominated Game 1 at times, particularly in the first period, but Bishop made some great saves to keep Tampa Bay in it. The Lightning tied the game on the power play in the third, but Bishop couldn't stop a shot that went off Dominic Moore's body. Bishop finished with 28 saves.

Description: Lightning goalie Ben Bishop stopped all 31 shots he faced in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Red Wings as Tampa Bay won, 2-0.
Insight: It was only the second time Detroit outshot Tampa Bay in the series, and the Red Wings nearly doubled the Lightning's shot total, 31-16. Bishop also appeared nervous to start the game, but he and his team settled down. With the shutout, Tampa Bay wins the series and advances to the next round to face the Montreal Canadiens.

Description: Lightning goalie Ben Bishop continued his inconsistent play in the postseason as Tampa Bay dropped Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, 3-0, on Tuesday.
Insight: Bishop had a rough Game 1 but responded with a very strong Game 2 to even the series. In Game 3, Bishop allowed two goals on 20 shots to post a .900 save percentage. He has a .897 save percentage in the series, and Detroit leads, 2-1.
