He was one of 10 blue liners to take 200 shots on goal and tied for sixth at the position in power play points. His only weakness is a lackluster plus/minus (0). That would improve if he could get some ice time with top defenseman Dam Hamhuis, who has a plus-58 over the last two seasons, but that second spot currently belongs to Kevin Bieksa.
