Panthers G Thomas leaves game

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Florida Panthers goaltender Tim Thomas left Tuesday's game against the Flyers with an undisclosed injury.

The 39-year-old was pulled after just 7:31 of game action, having surrendered two goals on five shots.

On the second score, a floater from the right point by Philly defenseman Braydon Coburn, Thomas dove awkwardly on his stomach in the crease. He then exited the contest and went to the locker room.

Jacob Markstrom entered the game in relief of Thomas.
