Hot11/10/2013 8:07:00 PM
Description: Houston wideout Andre Johnson's resurgence continued in Sunday's loss to Arizona.
Insight: Yardage-wise, Sunday was actually one of Johnson's worst performances of the season (37 yards). But he reeled in two touchdowns, which was more than enough to keep fantasy owners happy. Expect another solid outing from Johnson next week against the Raiders.

10/18/2013 9:38:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver Andre Johnson (shin) had a full practice Friday and is probable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
Insight: Johnson's shin is still sore but he's getting closer to being 100 percent. Case Keenum is making his first NFL start in place of Matt Schaub but he should be able to get Johnson the ball enough to make him worth starting as a WR2.

10/16/2013 6:46:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver Andre Johnson (shin) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Insight: Johnson is making progress towards being 100 percent; he missed several practices entirely last week before catching seven passes for 88 yards against the Rams on Sunday. His matchup against the Chiefs is a tough one and he could have T.J. Yates at quarterback, but he should be started as a WR2 in all leagues.

10/13/2013 12:00:00 PM
Description: As expected, Houston receiver Andre Johnson (shin) will play Sunday against St. Louis.
Insight: Johnson startled owners by missing a couple practices earlier in the week but he's good to go. Don't hesitate to start him against the Rams' 17th-ranked pass defense.

10/11/2013 2:00:00 PM
Description: Unlike his coach, Andre Johnson said he would play on Sunday.
Insight: Coach Gary Kubiak called Johnson a game-time decision, but the wideout said he felt better than last week. Johnson wasn't productive last week, but that was more a function of a horrible day from the quarterback position. If he plays, he's a must start.

Description: Andre Johnson's shin is acting up again. He missed most of Thursday's practice to receive treatment and is headed for a game-time decision Sunday against St. Louis. SOURCE: Texans on Twitter
Insight: Johnson has been battling this injury for a few weeks now and though it doesn't seem to be getting any better, it hasn't gotten any worse either. It would be wise to check on his status later in the week but we're guessing Johnson will play his usual role in the Houston offense Sunday versus the Rams.

10/9/2013 8:13:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver Andre Johnson wasn't on the field for Wednesday's practice.
Insight: We're not sure if Wednesday was just a maintenance day for Johnson or if he's dealing with a recurrence of one of his previous injuries. Johnson's status should be monitored closely ahead of Sunday's game versus St. Louis.

10/6/2013 7:26:00 PM
Description: As expected, Houston wideout Andre Johnson is active for Sunday night's game with San Francisco.
Insight: He's been dealing with a shin injury, but it didn't stop him from catching nine balls for 110 yards last week and he should be involved in the offense again this week.

9/29/2013 6:11:00 PM
Description: Despite being hobbled by a leg injury and facing Richard Sherman for most of Sunday's game against Seattle, Texans receiver Andre Johnson had nine catches for 110 yards.
Insight: A shin injury limited Johnson in practice throughout the week, but he still saw 12 targets Sunday and has 47 targets in four games. If he stays healthy, the veteran is a lock for another 100-catch season.

9/29/2013 12:00:00 PM
Description: Houston wideout Andre Johnson will start Sunday against Seattle.
Insight: A shin injury limited Johnson in practice throughout the week. Johnson hasn't found the end zone yet in 2013 and we're guessing he won't in Week 4 against a rock-solid Seahawks secondary. Start him at your own risk.

Description: Texans receiver Andre Johnson (shin) said Friday that he was about "80 percent." SOURCE: Houston Chronicle
Insight: Johnson added that he is "feeling better every day." The receiver is expected to start in Week 4 against Seattle despite a muscle bruise in his leg. He'll face one of the top shutdown corners in the league in Richard Sherman, but fantasy owners should roll the dice and trust that the big and physical Johnson can get open against anyone.

9/27/2013 2:10:00 PM
Description: Texans coach Gary Kubiak confirmed Friday that receiver Andre Johnson (shin) will start Sunday.
Insight: Johnson took part in individual drills Thursday and Friday and is no longer a game-time decision. He's a must start.

9/26/2013 5:00:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver Andre Johnson (shin) thinks he'll play Sunday against the Seahawks, according to Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com.
Insight: Johnson took part in individual drills Thursday and is still a game-time decision. He said he has a bruise on the muscle near his shin after getting kneed there in Week 3.

9/26/2013 2:53:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver Andre Johnson (shin) participated in individual drills Thursday but is still a game-time decision against Seattle, according to Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com.
Insight: Johnson sat out of all activities Wednesday, so at least he's making some progress. Houston hosts the Seahawks at 1 p.m. ET, so we should know if Johnson is playing by 11 a.m. ET Sunday morning.

Description: Houston receiver Andre Johnson is expected to be a game-time decision Sunday versus the Seahawks. SOURCE: NBC's Pro Football Talk
Insight: Head coach Gary Kubiak said Johnson's shin is feeling "very sore." Even if he plays, Johnson will probably be shadowed by All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman. It's not a good matchup for the 11-year veteran.

9/23/2013 8:35:00 PM
Description: The Texans are calling injured wideout Andre Johnson "day-to-day." SOURCE: Texans on Twitter
Insight: Johnson left Sunday's game against Baltimore with a shin injury but X-rays showed that it was only a bruise. He'll carry the questionable label into Week 4's game against Seattle but we're confident he'll be ready to play on Sunday.

Description: Houston Texans wideout Andre Johnson sustained a bad shin bruise Sunday, according to coach Gary Kubiak. SOURCE: Tania Ganguli, ESPN.com
Insight: Johnson suffered the injury before the half but his X-rays came back negative and he returned for the third before exiting for good.

9/20/2013 3:52:00 PM
Description: Houston Texans wideout Andre Johnson (concussion) was a limited participant in practice Friday, but coach Gary Kubiak confirmed he has been fully cleared for Week 3.
Insight: Johnson is a yardage machine with 1,598 last season and 222 through the first two games of 2013. Now if he can just find the end zone.

9/19/2013 2:56:00 PM
Description: According to Drew Dougherty of HoustonTexans.com, Andre Johnson (concussion) was a full participant in practice Thursday and all indications are that he'll start Sunday against the Ravens.
Insight: Johnson, who suffered a mild concussion Sunday against the Titans, will see an NFL doctor one last time before being officially cleared to play, but he wouldn't be practicing with pads if he wasn't ready to go.

9/19/2013 12:09:00 PM
Description: According to HoustonTexans.com, Andre Johnson is in the final stage of the NFL's concussion program.
Insight: Johnson, who suffered a mild concussion Sunday against the Titans, is expected to practice in pads Thursday. "Andre's fine," Texans coach Gary Kubiak said. Fantasy owners can expect to have Johnson back Sunday against the Ravens and should bump rookie DeAndre Hopkins down from WR2 into flex territory.
