Description: Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald is close to a new deal with Arizona, according to Adam Schefter.
Insight: It would be a new multi-year contract, and would keep Fitzgerald in Arizona for the rest of his career. While it will be nice to see him finish his career with the Cardinals, Fitzgerald is more of a WR3 these days.

Description: Cardinals coach Bruce Arians "desperately" wants receiver Larry Fitzgerald back in Arizona according to azcardinals.com.
Insight: Fitzgerald likely wants to stay in Arizona too, but his decision of whether or not to move on is going to come down to whether he is willing to take a pay cut. He is set to count $23.6 million towards the cap figure in 2015. Arizona will have to cut him in March to avoid paying his $8 million roster bonus. This news is actually good because three weeks ago, everyone was saying Fitzgerald would definitely not be in Arizona. Although it's possible he stays in the desert, it still seems more likely the two sides part ways.

Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald recorded a team-high 31 receiving yards during Saturday's loss to the Panthers.

Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald caught two of four targets for 29 yards.
Insight: Fitzgerald has been a non-factor since returning from his MCL sprain and was mainly a decoy in this one while Michael Floyd did the heavy lifting.

12/22/2014 9:40:00 AM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) was targeted 11 times, but caught just four balls for 33 yards.
Insight: Fitzgerald could do nothing against the stingy Seahawks secondary. That shouldn't surprise anyone given the Cardinals quarterback situation.

12/12/2014 10:06:00 AM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) was active for Week 15 and even saw double-digit targets, but didn't produce for fantasy owners.
Insight: Fitzgerald caught seven balls for just 30 yards. Given the problem at quarterback going forward, Fitzgerald and the other receivers have to be significantly downgraded.

12/11/2014 7:16:00 PM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is active for Week 15.
Insight: As expected, Fitzgerald will play against the Rams. He is no more than WR3 for Thursday's contest.

11/30/2014 2:52:00 PM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is officially inactive for Week 13.
Insight: No surprise here. John Brown and Michael Floyd should see the bulk of the targets.

11/23/2014 3:10:00 PM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is officially out for Week 12.
Insight: No surprise here. John Brown will see a bump in value against a tough Seattle secondary.

11/23/2014 10:50:00 AM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) missed all three practices this week and according to Ian Rapoport it would take a miracle for him to play in Week 12.
Insight: He is dealing with a Grade 2 MCL sprain and though he has said he will try to go, he certainly won't be anywhere near 100 percent. Given his already reduced role as the "possession" receiver, we think John Brown and Michael Floyd are better wideout options.

Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald missed some time in the first half due to a knee issue, but has returned for the second half.

11/10/2014 10:12:00 AM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald had a team-high 10 targets and nione receptions for 112 yards.
Insight: Fitzgerald might be the best possession receiver in the league. That's not a knock on him, he just isn't getting into the end zone often enough for fantasy owners.

11/2/2014 5:19:00 PM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald led the way in the passing game with five catches and 70 yards against the Cowboys.
Insight: Fitzgerald had two straight weeks of at least five catches and 70 yards. The Cardinals offense is not going to specifically target one wideout, but Fitzgerald is making big plays with the limited targets he gets.
