Insight: He rushed the ball 13 times for 73 yards and two touchdowns, as well as hauling in four passes for an additional 44 yards. Kniles Davis took some production away from Charles, with 49 rushing yards and a touchdown as well. Charles will be a top-five back for the rest of the season.

Description: Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles took a huge hit from Brandon Flower in Week 7, but it doesn't appear it will have a lasting effect.
Insight: Charles rushed 22 times for 95 yards and a score, but on Tuesday admitted the blow had him seeing "light bulbs around my eyes" for a couple of plays. Coming from a guy who suffered a concussion in the Chiefs January playoff game its a concern. But for now keep starting him.

Insight: It looked like Charles was limping and grabbing his knee after scoring a third touchdown against the Patriots on Monday. There is no official report yet, but the running back went to the locker room. Charles rushed 14 times for 73 yards and caught two passes for 13 yards in addition to his three touchdowns before he exited.

Insight: This confirms for sure that Charles does not actually have a high-ankle sprain. His sprain is doing well enough for him to practice with his teammates, and it is definitely possible Charles plays on Monday.

Insight: Charles participated in warmups, spent some time with the team trainer and then joined the position drills. Charles was even "cutting through cones." That would suggest that Charles does not have a high-ankle sprain at all. Although this is good news, there is still a reasonable chance that Charles will not play this week against the Dolphins.
