Description: We like that Chiefs wideout Dwayne Bowe will come into camp in better shape than previous seasons, according to a USA Today report.
Insight: Bowe will be 30-years-old this season and we hope he has finally realized he can't slide through on just his talent anymore after the 57-catch, 673-yard, five TD performance of last season. He's still the best receiver on the Kansas City roster.
4/12/2014 3:59:00 PM
Description: Chiefs wideout Dwayne Bowe has a court date next week regarding a marijuana arrest last November.
Insight: The results of the incident could effect his availability at the beginning of the season. The Chiefs are already weak at wide receiver and could be looking to add help at this year's draft.

Description: Chiefs wideout Dwayne Bowe never came out of Saturday's game against the Colts but he did suffer a mild foot sprain en route to a season-best eight catches for 130 yards. SOURCE: Reid Ferrin,
Insight: If Kansas City had a game scheduled for this week, we're guessing Bowe would have played through the injury. The 29-year-old didn't have an impressive regular season (just 57 grabs for 673 yards) but he certainly came to play in his lone postseason appearance. He'll be a middle of the pack fantasy receiver in 2014.

Description: Kansas City receiver Dwayne Bowe had a huge game Saturday against the Colts.
Insight: The 29-year-old reeled in eight catches for 150 yards. Both of those were season-highs. Bowe's 63-yard catch in the first quarter was his longest reception of the season. Bowe had his hands on Alex Smith's pass on 4th and 11 late in the fourth quarter but the officials ruled that Bowe's foot was out of bounds when he made the catch. Bowe missed Week 17 because of a concussion.

Description: Chiefs wideout Dwayne Bowe (concussion) is probable for Saturday's playoff game at Indianapolis, according to
Insight: Bowe missed the final game of the regular season after catching just 57 passes for 673 yards and five touchdowns the first 15. Running back Jamaal Charles led the team in receiving yards with 693 and receiving touchdowns with seven.

Insight: He missed last week's game with a concussion. This is a very good sign for the Chiefs heading into Saturday's first round game against the Colts.
12/30/2013 12:19:00 PM
Description: Kansas City wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is questionable for Saturday's game against Indianapolis.
Insight: Bowe didn't play Sunday due to a concussion. He should be ready for Indianapolis this Saturday.
12/27/2013 7:59:00 PM
Description: Concussed Kansas City wide receiver Dwayne Bowe won't be ready for Sunday's game against San Diego.
Insight: Even if he were healthy, Bowe probably wouldn't have played much. With KC already locked into the No. 5 seed, the Chiefs have nothing to gain from winning this week. Expect most of the Chiefs' starters to play sparingly or not at all in the regular season finale.

Description: Kansas City wideout Dwayne Bowe has been diagnosed with a concussion. He's questionable for Week 17. SOURCE: Terez Paylor, Kansas City Star
Insight: The Chiefs are already guaranteed of the fifth seed, which makes Sunday's game against the Chargers pretty much meaningless. With that being the case, we'd be shocked if Bowe plays this week.
12/25/2013 9:49:00 AM
Description: Kansas City wideout Dwayne Bowe should not be started in fantasy leagues in Week 17
Insight: Bowe should give way to backups as Kansas City is locked in as the fifth seed and has zero to play for. Andy Reid has always rested his stars in this situation.
11/13/2013 11:35:00 AM
Description: According to ESPN's Ed Werder, a source said Dwayne Bowe will start for the Chiefs Sunday night against Denver despite his recent marijuana arrest.
Insight: The league will consider disciplining Bowe once the case is resolved. Even against Denver's 30th ranked pass defense, Bowe isn't a worthwhile fantasy option. The 29-year-old has pulled in 33 catches for 369 yards and two touchdowns in nine games this season. He hasn't had more than 67 receiving yards in any game.

Description: ESPN's Ed Werder says he doesn't expect the Chiefs to discipline Dwayne Bowe for his marijuana arrest until the case is resolved.
Insight: Bowe will play Sunday night against the Broncos, but even against Denver's 30th ranked pass defense he isn't a worthwhile fantasy option. The 29-year-old has pulled in 33 catches for 369 yards and two touchdowns in nine games this season. He hasn't had more than 67 receiving yards in any game.

Description: KC wideout Dwayne Bowe was arrested over the weekend for marijauna possession. SOURCE: Fox 4, Kansas City
Insight: He was also busted for speeding. No suspension is imminent, which means fantasy owners can feel free to employ Bowe Sunday against the Broncos' 30th-ranked pass defense.
Cold11/3/2013 5:38:00 PM
Description: Chiefs QB Alex Smith targeted Dwayne Bowe a season-high 12 times in Week 9 at Buffalo.
Insight: However, Bowe only had seven catches for 67 yards. He still doesn't have a 70-yard game this season, and it seems like this is as good as it's going to get.
Cold10/26/2013 7:20:00 PM
Description: Kansas City receiver Dwayne Bowe (groin) will be active for Sunday's game versus Cleveland. SOURCE: Jason La Canfora, CBS Sports
Insight: Just because Bowe is playing doesn't mean you should start him in fantasy. He's likely to be covered by cornerback Joe Haden, who has already shut down Jordy Nelson, Calvin Johnson, Greg Jennings, Mike Wallace, Torrey Smith and A.J. Green this season. Even if Haden wasn't covering him, Bowe would be a flex option at best.
Cold10/26/2013 2:40:00 PM
Description: ESPN's Ed Werder says he gets the "sense" the Chiefs expect receiver Dwayne Bowe (groin) to play in Week 8.
Insight: Bowe has had difficulty separating from cornerbacks even with a healthy groin this season, and with Alex Smith's refusal to force balls in coverage Bowe has caught just 25 passes for 295 yards and two scores in seven games. He hasn't had more than 66 yards in any game this season and shouldn't be started Sunday against the Browns.
Cold10/25/2013 2:42:00 PM
Description: Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe (groin) was listed as limited in Thursday's practice and followed that up by missing Friday's session.
Insight: That's not a good sign. Bowe has already been a huge disappointment to fantasy owners with no game over 66 yards and just two scores all season. Beware of putting him your starting lineup for Week 8.
Cold10/11/2013 8:28:00 PM
Description: After reviewing game film, Sports Illustrated's Greg Bedard says that Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe lacks explosion and cannot beat man coverage anymore.
Insight: "Defenses don't fear him at all," Bedard said. Bowe is having difficulty separating from cornerbacks and ultra-conservative QB Alex Smith is not going to force the ball to him. The 29-year-old Bowe has just 17 catches, 183 yards and two touchdowns in five games this season.
Cold10/6/2013 6:15:00 PM
Description: Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe has failed to exceed 58 receiving yards in any game this season.
Insight: As we said last week, it's either touchdown or bust for Bowe this season. He didn't catch one Sunday at Tennessee and had four catches for 35 yards on six targets. The 29-year-old is averaging 36.6 receiving yards per game.
9/29/2013 5:56:00 PM
Description: Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe was on his way to another disappointing game Sunday until he caught a 34-yard touchdown with 3:06 left in the fourth quarter.
Insight: The Chiefs were up 24-7 at the time but chose to pass the ball and it worked out for Bowe owners. The receiver had just three catches for 24 yards before the touchdown catch. It's clear most of his fantasy value is going to come from touchdowns this year, and that makes him a boom-or-bust player.
