Raiders QB Pryor could sit vs. Texans
Alameda, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor could miss Sunday's game against the Houston Texans if his sprained right knee doesn't feel better by Saturday.
The Raiders listed Pryor as questionable on Friday after he was limited in practice for the second day in a row. Oakland coach Dennis Allen said Pryor took a step back.
"He wasn't as good today as he was yesterday," said Allen. "But you never know. So we'll take a look at him (Saturday). We're still preparing him to get ready to play."
Pryor was 11-of-26 for 122 yards last week and threw an interception that led to the New York Giants' winning points. He missed a game earlier this season because of a concussion.
Rookie Matt McGloin would make his first NFL start if Pryor doesn't play.
Running back Darren McFadden missed practice all week and will sit out his second straight game with a hamstring injury. Safety Tyvon Branch (ankle), wide receiver Juron Criner (shoulder) and cornerback D.J. Hayden (groin) will also miss the game.
Linebacker Kaluka Maiava (ribs) and tackle Matt McCants (toe) are questionable to play. Kicker Sebastian Janikowski (ribs) practiced fully on Friday and is probable.
