City held to a draw by Sunderland
(L-R) Alvaro Negredo, Fernandinho, and Aleksandar Kolarov
The Citizens improve to 71 points on the season
but remain six points back of first-place Liverpool.
Manchester, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Manchester City's title hopes took another blow on Wednesday as the Citizens were held to a 2-2 draw by Sunderland at the Etihad.

City entered last weekend as the title favorite, but a loss at Liverpool on Sunday meant that Wednesday's meeting with the Black Cats became a must-win.

The Brazilian, the recipient of a deadly through ball from Sergio Aguero, netted the opener early on by sliding a shot past Vito Mannone at the near post.   continue>>
