away with a backhander of his own in the third round. Hiller stopped Whitney
and Loui Eriksson in the shootout.
"We got some bounces tonight that could have been goals and our penalty kills
did a great job helping us and our goaltender again. Those are games that feel
really good to win as a team," Getzlaf said.
Dallas drew first blood at the 12:35 mark of the first period. A broken play
ended with Whitney beating Hiller on a backhander.
