New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Henrik Lundqvist posted a 30-save shutout for his 300th career win as the New York Rangers downed the Detroit Red Wings, 3-0, at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. Brian Boyle opened the scoring just over five minutes into the game, while Chris Kreider potted a pair of third-period goals in support of Lundqvist, who tied Ed Giacomin's franchise record with his 49th career shutout. Lundqvist, who stopped 38 shots in a 1-0 whitewash of the Red Wings on Jan. 16, now trails Mike Richter by just one win for the most in franchise history. Jimmy Howard allowed all three goals on 31 shots for Detroit, which has dropped three of its last four games.

Sunrise, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Carl Soderberg and Patrice Bergeron each posted a goal and an assist as the Boston Bruins took a 5-2 win over the Florida Panthers on Sunday. Chris Kelly, Torey Krug and Jarome Iginla each scored a goal for the Bruins, who have ripped off five straight wins. Chad Johnson gave up two goals on 22 shots in the win. Jimmy Hayes scored both goals for the Panthers, who have lost six of their last eight. Roberto Luongo gave up four goals on 41 shots in defeat.

Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Jonathan Toews scored to a break a third- period tie and the Chicago Blackhawks edged the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 at First Niagara Center. Buffalo native Patrick Kane had the other Chicago goal and Corey Crawford made 20 saves as the Blackhawks topped the Sabres for the fifth straight time. Drew Stafford lit the lamp for the Sabres, who had their home winning streak snapped at three games. Jhonas Enroth was stellar in defeat with 29 saves.
