|8/22/2011 6:18:00 PM||Description: Chargers placed ILB Stephen Cooper (biceps) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Stephen Acee via Twitter||Insight: Cooper has become an IDP after-thought and didn't help his cause after tearing his biceps in week two's preseason match-up. It's pretty safe to say that his career as a Charger is done as Jonas Mouton and Donald Butler are the future on the inside. If the Chargers need insurance, Kirk Morrison and Lofa Tatupu are still available.|
|12/23/2010 9:47:00 PM||Description: Charger ILB Stephen Cooper has been ruled out for week 16 against the Bengals.
Kevin Acee via Twitter||Insight: Cooper, even in a rotation, was contributing to the Charger's defense, so this will be a bit of a blow. Brandon Siler will get the start alongside Kevin Burnett this week, and even with this news, it should not prevent you from starting the Charger DEF/ST.|
|9/17/2010 9:19:00 PM||Description: Steelers ILB Stephen Cooper (knee) is listed as doubtful for Week 2.
SOURCE: Kevin Acee via Twitter||Insight: Tough break for his owners as they'll need to look to different options. However, Brandon Siler makes a decent replacement as he'll slide into Cooper's spot on the inside and makes a decent IDP sleeper.|
|10/5/2008 8:09:00 AM||Description: The Chargers added Stephen Cooper to the active roster on Saturday, and he is expected to recover his starting inside linebacker spot from Derek Smith. Cooper could be a decent starter right away in deep leagues against a Dolphins offense that should favor the run. He could also see his time limited a bit, though, as he returns after missing four weeks because of a drug-related suspension. (SportsBuff.com)||Insight: |
