Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins saw 12 targets, but did not do much on Sunday.
Insight: Hopkins finished with five receptions for 38 yards, but did look completely healthy after being questionable heading into the contest.

12/21/2014 11:15:00 AM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins is ready to play Sunday against Baltimore, according to NFL Networks' Ian Rapoport.
Insight: Unfortunately we cannot recommend Hopkins as anything more than a WR3, with Case Keenum under center.

12/19/2014 4:19:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins has missed all three practices this week and should be considered questionable for Week 16.
Insight: With Case Keenum likely the Texans starting quarterback and Andre Johnson likely to return to the lineup, a sore-ankled Hopkins has a limit to how good he can be.

12/14/2014 6:55:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins again led the team in receiving.
Insight: Without Andre Johnson, Hopkins was poised for a big day until Ryan Fitzpatrick went out with an injury. Hopkins still managed five catches for 77 yards.

12/7/2014 7:13:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins had a team-high 49 receiving yards on Sunday.
Insight: Hopkins had four catches, which is a disappointment for owners, as he over 200 yards in Week 13.

11/30/2014 5:52:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins set a career high with 238 receiving yards in Week 14.
Insight: Hopkins reached the career high on nine catches, two of which went for touchdowns. He actually caught all nine of his targets. Those owners thinking Hopkins would see a reduction in value because of the return of Ryan Fitzpatrick were very wrong.

11/23/2014 7:15:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins had five catches during Sunday's loss to Cincinnati.
Insight: He had only 39 yards, and just like Andre Johnson, Hopkins will continued to be plagued by poor quarterback play.

11/16/2014 6:26:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins had just four catches but gained 80 yards through the air on Sunday.
Insight: Even though Hopkins was not able to find the end zone again, he still turned in a good fantasy day. Ryan Mallett targeted Hopkins eight times and Andre Johnson nine.

11/2/2014 6:11:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins had six receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles on Sunday.
Insight: Hopkins led the team with 11 targets. He is passing Andre Johnson in fantasy realms, who caught just two of his seven targets.

10/26/2014 6:02:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins led the team in receiving on Sunday.
Insight: On 11 targets, Hopkins had five catches for 95 yards, but was unable to find the end zone. He will be a WR3, moving forward.

10/21/2014 10:59:00 AM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins was busy Monday night, catching six of nine targets for 108 yards.
Insight: It was a nice bounce back after being invisible against Indianapolis in Week 6. He's a WR3, but can sometimes surprise with a big number.

Cold10/10/2014 9:46:00 AM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins was a non-factor Thursday night, seeing just two targets and catching one for 12 yards.
Insight: That was a bit disappointing after Hopkins had shown us so much over the first five games. Hopkins is usually a WR3 option, with WR2 upside, but not Thursday.

9/28/2014 5:08:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins hauls in third touchdown of season.
Insight: He finished with five receptions for 64 yards, on six targets. Hopkins is a fine WR3 option, with WR2 upside.

9/21/2014 5:53:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins caught six passes for 116 yards against the Giants in Week 3.
Insight: Hopkins led the Texans receivers with receptions and receiving yards. Andre Johnson still led the team with 11 targets, but Johnson caught just four passes for 24 yards. Hopkins had nine targets.

9/16/2014 12:34:00 PM
Description: Houston receiver DeAndre Hopkins, scored in Week 2 from 12 yards out, but is still the second option behind aging Andre Johnson.
Insight: Hopkins has shown us flashes of talent, but has been targeted 10 times over two games this season to 16 for Johnson. That as much as the quarterback situation is going to limit Hopkins' upside.

9/18/2013 10:56:00 AM
Description: Houston rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins will still have to share targets with Andre Johnson in Week 3 as it appears the Texans' No. 1 receiver will be ready to play.
Insight: Hopkins broke out with seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets Sunday against the Titans doing a lot of damage after Johnson was sidelined. His fantasy value drops a bit from early-week expectations of him being the primary target for quarterback Matt Schaub.

Hot9/17/2013 12:30:00 PM
Description: Texans rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who broke out with seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets Sunday against the Titans, could be in for another big game in Week 3 if star Andre Johnson can't play due to his concussion.
Insight: Hopkins looked like a legitimate No. 1 receiver during overtime while Andre Johnson was in the locker room last week and if Johnson has to miss any time, Hopkins would be a must-start.

Description: Texans rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins broke out with seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets Sunday against the Titans.

9/7/2013 9:56:00 PM
Description: Texans rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins (concussion) is listed as probable for Monday's season opener at San Diego.
Insight: Hopkins finally passed his final concussion test Tuesday. He'll serve as the No. 2 receiver across from Andre Johnson and should be owned in all fantasy leagues, but owners should avoid playing him early this season until the Texans show that they are willing to break from their conservative passing offense. Of Houston's 354 completions last season, 212 went to backs or tight ends.

9/3/2013 2:37:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins finally has passed his concussion test, according to ProFootballTalk.
Insight: Hopkins should be ready to go for the season opener, but rookies who miss a lot of practice time don't get big roles in the offense. He'll likely be eased into the slot opposite Andre Johnson and should have a much better second half of the season.
