Description: Cincinnati signed quarterback Jason Campbell to a one-year deal on Wednesday. SOURCE: Adam Schefter, ESPN
Insight: Campbell was cut by the Browns last week. He'll only be worth owning in fantasy if Andy Dalton gets injured. So far Dalton hasn't missed a game in his career, so that's highly unlikely.

Description: Cleveland's roster purge continued Wednesday with the release of quarterback Jason Campbell. SOURCE: Browns on Twitter
Insight: Brian Hoyer and Alex Tanney are the only QBs remaining on the Browns' roster. There's a good chance Cleveland addresses this issue in the upcoming draft. Former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel could be a possibility with the fourth pick.

Description: Browns QB Jason Campbell had a fine afternoon Sunday against New England.
Insight: Campbell looked sharp in his first game back from a concussion, completing 29-of-44 passes for 391 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran twice for 27 yards. As long as superstar wideout Josh Gordon is around to throw to, Campbell should continue to have fantasy success.

Description: Cleveland quarterback Jason Campbell will get the start Sunday against New England.
Insight: Campbell missed last week's game with a concussion. Brandon Weeden (concussion) will not be available for this week's game. Campbell's return is good news for owners of Josh Gordon.

12/6/2013 1:49:00 PM
Description: Browns quarterback Jason Campbell (concussion) has been upgraded to probable after getting through a second straight practice.
Insight: Josh Gordon owners can breathe easy with this news. Campbell is desperately needed in Week 14, because Brandon Weeden suffered a concussion against Jacksonville, leaving unknown Alex Tanney and recently signed Caleb Hanie as the other options.

12/5/2013 2:45:00 PM
Description: Browns quarterback Jason Campbell (concussion) has been cleared to practice Thursday and took the first team reps, according to beat writer Mary Kay Cabot.
Insight: Josh Gordon owners should be smiling with this news. Campbell is desperately needed in Week 14, because Brandon Weeden suffered a concussion against Jacksonville, leaving unknown Alex Tanney and recently signed Caleb Hanie as the other options.

Description: Browns quarterback Jason Campbell (concussion) has begun activities, but has not been cleared to practice.
Insight: Campbell is desperately needed in Week 14, because Brandon Weeden suffered a concussion against Jacksonville, leaving unknown Alex Tanney as the last healthy quarterback on the roster.

Description: Browns quarterback Jason Campbell left Sunday's game with a head injury.
Insight: Campbell wasn't doing much anyway, throwing for just 124 yards before exiting. He's been replaced by second-year quarterback Brandon Weeden.

11/5/2013 12:03:00 PM
Description: Browns quarterback Jason Campbell, who had another strong game in Week 9 against the Ravens, is back on the practice field Tuesday despite bruised ribs.
Insight: Campbell threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns to nearly upset the Chiefs last week and had 262 yards and three scores Sunday to knock off the defending Super Bowl champ Ravens Sunday. The Browns have a bye in Week 10 before playing at Cincinnati in Week 11.

Description: Browns quarterback Jason Campbell had another strong game in Week 9 against the Ravens.
Insight: Campbell threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns to nearly upset the Chiefs last week and had 262 yards and three scores Sunday to knock off the defending Super Bowl champs. The Browns have a bye in Week 10 before playing at Cincinnati in Week 11. Only owners in two-quarterback leagues should consider starting Campbell.

10/28/2013 2:32:00 PM
Description: After a solid effort against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, Browns QB Jason Campbell will get a second start in Week 9, according to Coach Rob Chudzinski.
Insight: Campbell threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns against a very good Chiefs defense and earned another opportunity. He has talented receivers in Josh Gordan and Jordan Cameron so could be a decent option in two QB leagues.

Description: Browns QB Jason Campbell will make his first start of the season Sunday versus the Chiefs. SOURCE: Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland Plain Dealer
Insight: It appears the Brandon Weeden era in Cleveland is finally over. Campbell, Cleveland's third string quarterback at the start of the season, faces an impossibly tough task Sunday going against the undefeated Chiefs at their home stadium. He's not a recommended fantasy play.

11/20/2012 11:22:00 AM
Description: Bears backup QB Jason Campbell has been horrible as a replacement for starter Jay Cutler. It was never more evident as when compared to San Francisco 49ers' backup Colin Kaepernick on Monday night.
Insight: One look at Campbell's performance as Cutler's replacement shows how much the Bears need their starter back. So do fantasy owners of Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Matt Forte.

11/16/2012 1:33:00 PM
Description: With Bears QB Jay Cutler declared out for Week 11, Jason Campbell will get the start.
Insight: Cutler left Sunday night's game against Houston at the half after being diagnosed with a concussion. Jason Campbell took over and did not play well under wet conditions against a tough Texans' defense, going 11-for-19 for 94 yards. Things won't get easier for Campbell against the 49ers and his fantasy value is low.

3/14/2012 3:33:00 PM
Description: Jason Campbell has signed a one-year-deal with the Chicago Bears.
Insight: Cutler is still the starter in Chicago so Campbell's fantasy value is pretty limited unless Cutler gets hurt. Even if that happens, don't expect Campbell to stuff the stat sheet for you. He's only thrown for more than 15 touchdowns in a season once in his career.

2/24/2011 10:03:00 PM
Description: New Raiders head coach Hue Jackson said Thursday he feels good about heading into next season with Campbell as his starting quarterback.
Insight: ?Jason Campbell, in my opinion, did a tremendous job last year," Jackson said, according to SportingNews.com. Jackson spent last year as Oakland's offensive coordinator, so it's not as if he simply came to this realization after a couple of weeks of tape work. Campbell has shown impressive flashes throughout his career but has struggled with inconsistency while also dealing with many system changes. Even if he improves for the Raiders next year, he'll come with a fairly low fantasy ceiling overall. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: Oakland Raiders HC Hue Jackson declared that Jason Campbell is his starting quarterback. SOURCE: NATIONAL FOOTBALL POST
Insight: "No question," Jackson told a Fresno radio station per the Oakland Tribune. "I mean, there's no question he is. The guy won some very important games. The guy played hurt. The guy got to know his teammates, rallied his team, and finished very strong. He helped us win, obviously, every game in our division, there's no question he is definitely the unquestioned starter on this football team at this point."

1/2/2011 3:30:00 PM
Description: Surprisingly, Raiders QB Jason Campbell and TE Zach Miller are back IN their Week 17 game vs. Kansas City.
Insight: This is amazing considering it looked as if both guys were done for the day. In fact, we reported earlier it looked really serious for Miller. Somehow, both have shaken off their injuries and are back on the field.

1/2/2011 2:23:00 PM
Description: Raiders QB Jason Campbell suffered some sort of a knee injury in the first quarter (Week 17) against the Chiefs and forced to come out of the game.
Insight: Campbell scrambled on a third down like he often does, but was crushed by Chiefs DL Tamba Hali. Trainers are still working on him and it's questionable as to whether or not he'll return.
