Selected to play in the 2007 Senior Bowl after he placed seventh on the Orange with 62 tackles in 2006 campaign...Jackson ranked second on the team with six passes defended (a pair of interceptions and four break-ups) and also registered a couple of forced fumbles for Syracuse...Finished career with 160 tackles, of which 126 were unassisted...Jackson made the first sacks of his career as a senior, posting two and a half quarterback takedowns in fact, but produced a mere 8.5 tackles for loss during his career overall...Was one of just three true freshmen to play in 2003 which says something about his talentand maturity, although he was never a standout performer for the Orange and was actually suspended by head coach Greg Robinson in April 2006 for conduct detrimental to the team before being reinstated for the most recent campaign. |
