Insight: Heap had not played since Week 2 and hasn't been fantasy relevant since 2006 when he was with Baltimore.

11/20/2012 11:05:00 AM
Description: Cardinals tight end Todd Heap is questionable for Sunday's game against St. Louis. He's still dealing with a knee problem.
Insight: Heap hasn't played since Week 2 and hasn't been fantasy relevant since 2006. The Cardinals use Rob Housler and Jeff King at tight end, but don't throw to either very much. There is no fantasy value coming from the Cardinals tight end position.

Description: Cardinals tight end Todd Heap is inactive Thursday against the Vikings due to a sprained knee.
Insight: Heap hasn't played since Week 2 and hasn't been fantasy relevant since 2006.

Description: Cardinals tight end Todd Heap is inactive Thursday against the Rams due to a sprained knee.
Insight: This will be the third straight game Heap has missed. The veteran tight end has eight receptions for 94 yards in two games this season.

9/23/2012 3:14:00 PM
Description: Todd Heap won't be available for Sunday's game versus the Eagles. The Cardinals tight end is still recovering from a left knee injury.
Insight: Heap hauled in five catches for 62 yards last week in a win over the Patriots. Rob Housler will pick up the start in Heap's absence.

8/24/2012 11:56:00 AM
Description: Oft-injured Cardinals tight end Todd Heap left Thursday's game with an undisclosed injury, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.
Insight: Though Heap still is talented, there are too many other options at the position who can stay on the field to still be playing Heap in fantasy lineups. He caught 24 balls for 283 yards last season in 10 games.

Insight: Heap had two catches for 23 yards before heading into the locker room for X-rays. The tests came back negative, and he said he could have returned to the game if it was the regular season. Heap may skip some practices, but there's not much real concern here.

1/17/2011 11:05:00 AM
Description: Heap picked a good way to end his 2010, by following up a career-high in catches against the Chiefs with 43 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Steelers. All of his scores for the year came from Week 6 on, despite Heap missing nearly four full games late in the season.
Insight: The veteran has one year left on his contract at $4.6 million and several young players behind him at the position. The Ravens might have a decision to make, but Heap could be hard to jettison with no one behind him yet proven. (RapidDraft.com)

1/10/2011 12:02:00 PM
Description: Heap caught a career-high 10 passes for the Ravens in Sunday's playoff win at Kansas City.
Insight: The Baltimore tight end also turned in his largest yardage total since 2005, easily leading his team's passing attack. Heap caught three passes for 35 yards in the first meeting with Pittsburgh this year before leaving the second matchup with an injury on the first play. (RapidDraft.com)

1/3/2011 4:04:00 PM
Description: Heap returned from a hamstring injury in Week 17 to catch three passes for a team-high 53 yards.
Insight: Heap at least stands as an option against the Chiefs this week for fantasy playoff leagues. Beyond that, it's not hard to imagine the Ravens moving on from their oft-injured veteran tight end. The team has a bevy of youngsters at the position, led by rookie Ed Dickson. (RapidDraft.com)

1/1/2011 10:02:00 PM
Description: Heap is questionable with the hamstring injury that cost him Week 16.
Insight: Heap participated in practice all week, however, which differs from last week. He's expected to play against the Bengals on Sunday. (RapidDraft.com)

12/25/2010 9:02:00 PM
Description: Heap was limited in practice all week with the thigh injury that kept him out in Week 15. He's questionable for Sunday.
Insight: Even if Heap is active, he's too iffy an option to make for a good fantasy play. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: Ravens TE Todd Heap (hamstring) is expected to play against the Browns, barring a setback. SOURCE: CARROLL COUNTY TIMES
Insight: If he starts, Heap should be a decent option if you are in a bind. The Ravens have been getting their tight ends more involved in the passing game in recent weeks.

12/16/2010 1:00:00 AM
Description: Heap opened Week 15 practices on the sideline Wednesday because of the hamstring injury that kept him out Monday night.
Insight: The team has yet to rule Heap out for this week, but you certainly shouldn't be counting on his availability. Ed Dickson did next-to-nothing despite a terrific matchup Monday night, so you should be looking outside Heap's team for help. (RapidDraft.com)

12/11/2010 10:05:00 PM
Description: Heap has been ruled out, as expected, for the Monday night meeting with Houston. He suffered a hamstring injury on the first play of Week 13.
Insight: It's a shame for Heap to miss such a terrific matchup, but his absence shouldn't leave too many owners in a lurch. If you are one such owner, grab replacement Ed Dickson. (RapidDraft.com)

12/9/2010 11:05:00 PM
Description: As expected, Heap missed practice Thursday because of the hamstring injury suffered early in his team's Week 13 game.
Insight: Heap isn't likely to play in Week 14 and figures to cede the starting job to Ed Dickson. (RapidDraft.com)

12/9/2010 3:35:00 PM
Description: Ravens TE Todd Heap (hamstring) did not practice Thursday. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: We don't see him suiting up for Monday night's game against the Texans. Make sure you have Ed Dickson ready.

12/6/2010 6:08:00 PM
Description: Ravens HC John Harbaugh isn't optimistic about TE Todd Heap's (hamstring) chances of playing against the Texans. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: "It doesn't look good for next week." Heap never even had a chance against the Steelers, leaving after the first play from scrimmage and never returning. Ed Dickson could be a sleeper against the Texans, who rank last in the league in fantasy points given up to tight ends.

12/6/2010 10:03:00 AM
Description: Heap left Sunday night's game with a hamstring injur after the team's first offensive play and did not return.
Insight: Rookie tight end caught three passes for 21 yards in his absence and would likely step into the lineup in Heap's absence. (RapidDraft.com)

12/6/2010 1:09:00 AM
Description: Ravens TE Todd Heap left the game after the first series with a very sore ankle and hasn't returned.
Insight: He didn't even seem to get bumped on the pass route, but he came up lame and never came back. Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta did a decent job replacing Heap.
