Description: Scott reached a six-year deal with the Jets on Friday, the first day of free agency for 2009. He spent his first seven seasons in Baltimore, where he played under new Jets coach Rex Ryan.
Insight: Scott had a huge season in 2006 with 103 tackles (78 solo), 9.5 sacks and two interceptions. Otherwise, though, he's been a pretty average producer. Maybe getting into a defense with fewer stars will help, though IDP owners shouldn't expect too much. Scott's presence inside might help boost the value of outside linebacker Calvin Pace, who signed with the Jets before last season. (
