Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram had a horrible game against the Ravens, rushing for 27 yards on 11 carries.
Insight: Ingram totaled just 42 yards, his second worst total of the season and didn't find the end zone. After three huge games, Ingram has posted two mediocre totals.

Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram had his worst game of the season against the Bengals.
Insight: Ingram had 67 yards on 23 carries, which was good for just a 2.9 average. He has been so good lately, fantasy owners just have to chalk it up to a bad outing. The entire Saints offense did not move the ball very well in Week 11.

Description: New Orleans running back Mark Ingram should continue being the workhorse back in Week 1 as both Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson are out.
Insight: Ingram is a borderline RB1 as long as Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas are sidelined. He has three consecutive 100-plus yard games.

Description: New Orleans running back Mark Ingram continued his stellar play.
Insight: He rushed 27 times for 120 yards, and also had three catches for 19 yards. Ingram is a borderline RB1 as long as Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas are sidelined.

Hot11/9/2014 12:09:00 PM
Description: New Orleans running back Mark Ingram is active despite a shoulder issue.
Insight: Ingram is a hot back without much competition for carries with Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas inactive. He's a must start.

Hot10/31/2014 4:26:00 PM
Description: New Orleans running back Mark Ingram is expected to be part of a timeshare when tailbacks Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas return from their injuries, according to ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett.
Insight: After totaling 272 rushing yards over the past two games, this not what Ingram-owners want to hear. We still feel that Ingram has RB2 upside, even when Robinson and Thomas return.

Hot10/31/2014 9:16:00 AM
Description: New Orleans running back Mark Ingram and his fantasy owners enjoyed another day as the Saints workhorse running back, rushing the ball 30 times for 100 yards and two scores.
Insight: Coming off a 172-yard game in Week 8, one has to wonder what the Saints will do when Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas are ready to return from injury. In the meantime, fantasy owners must start Ingram ever game.

Hot10/27/2014 9:46:00 AM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram was the primary guy out of the backfield with Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas sidelined by injury and produced big numbers for fantasy owners.
Insight: Ingram posted 172 yards and a score on 24 carries. It was a great game, but as soon as the injured guys return this will once again be a shared situation.

10/24/2014 7:41:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram could be in for a big day against the Packers on Sunday night.
Insight: Ingram will likely get a majority of the carries for New Orleans in Week 8 as Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas have both been ruled out. Ingram had just 16 yards on 10 carries versus the Lions last Sunday, but the Packers are the No. 31 ranked rush defense in the league.

10/19/2014 7:13:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram led the team with 10 carries but only gained 16 yards.
Insight: It was Ingram's first game back from his injury, but it was a big disappointment. Many speculated Khiry Robinson would be involved just as much as Ingram was. That wasn't the case as Robinson only had three carries, but Ingram, obviously, did not take advantage.

10/15/2014 4:29:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram told ESPN that he is ready to go in Week 7.
Insight: Ingram has been fully practicing this week. We expect him to get 12-15 carries this Sunday against Detroit, but the stout Lions defense keeps Ingram a low-end RB2 or FLEX play in his first weekend back.

10/14/2014 3:15:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram should regain his starting spot in Week 7, but may share more time with Khiry Robinson than in the past.
Insight: Robinson ran well while Ingram was sidelined and has earned playing time. throw in Pierre Thomas and the three-way split likely makes them all candidates for your fantasy bench.

10/11/2014 10:10:00 AM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram will move slowly back into his starting role.
Insight: Ingram is hoping to return in Week 7 after the Saints bye this weekend, but with the emergence of Khiry Robinson, New Orleans has the luxury of not rushing Ingram back into the feature role. Once Ingram does regain the starting position, Robinson is also expected to be more involved than he was before Ingram's injury.

10/6/2014 3:18:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram is still targeting Week 7 for his return.
Insight: Ingram was producing solid fantasy numbers while sharing time with Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson. Robinson has played well in his absence, but should return to a backup role when Ingram is ready to play.

9/15/2014 1:08:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram, who rushed 11 times for 83 yards and a touchdown against the Browns in Week 2, will miss about a month due to a hand injury, according to Adam Schefter.
Insight: Ingram was producing solid fantasy numbers while sharing time with Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson. Robinson figured to do most of the running with Thomas as the pass receiver for the next month. it will be interesting to see which one gets the most work and has the most fantasy value.

9/14/2014 6:02:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram rushed 11 times for 83 yards and a touchdown against the Browns in Week 2.
Insight: Similar to Graham, Ingram was not featured early on in the game, but after some struggles on offense, Sean Payton turned to Ingram. The running back rushed eight times for 39 yards and a touchdown in the second half. After two weeks, he looks like the best Saints back to have on your fantasy team.

8/19/2014 8:52:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram is hoping to be more involved in the passing game this season, according to ESPN.com. "I hope so. I want to do everything. I want to be involved in the pass game, run game, picking up pass (protection). I want to be the most versatile player I can be," Ingram said. "The majority of the time, if you just watch the film, most of the teams think when I'm in the game it's either gonna be a run or play-action or something like that. ... I know I'm an all-purpose back, a complete back. I can do everything."
Insight: Darren Sproles, who caught 71 passes on 89 targets last season, was traded to the Eagles this offseason. Ingram has caught 24 passes in 37 career NFL games, but he had a receiving touchdown in Friday's preseason game and caught two passes during a two-minute drill simulation Monday. The Saints are expected to mix Ingram, Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson this season, so all three will have limited fantasy value.

11/11/2013 5:21:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram's 145 rushing yards in Week 10 against Dallas were not only a career high but also the first 100-yard performance in Ingram's 30 career NFL games.
Insight: Ingram has played just four games this season due to a toe injury and hadn't rushed for more than 20 yards in the first three before busting out Sunday night. The Saints rushed for 242 yards and three touchdowns on 38 carries, so Ingram's performance is likely more an indictment of Dallas' defense than a sign he's going to become an impact player. He's not worth a waiver priority but if he clears waivers in your league feel free to make the speculative add.

10/13/2013 3:35:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram will miss another game Sunday versus the Patriots.
Insight: He's been struggling with a toe injury for most of the season. If you haven't already, we'd recommend dropping Ingram as soon as possible. Even when healthy, he isn't much of a fantasy asset.

9/30/2013 7:29:00 PM
Description: New Orleans halfback Mark Ingram won't suit up Monday against the Dolphins.
Insight: He's out with a toe injury. Ingram didn't play in last week's game either. Darren Sproles (228 all-purpose yards this season) is the only Saints running back worth starting in fantasy.
