Description: Impending free agent WR Legedu Naanee was arrested on multiple charges Saturday in Indianapolis, including public intoxication and resisting arrest. SOURCE: SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE
Insight: Naanee used the old "Do you know who I am?" routine when officers tried to arrest him after he crossed into an active crime scene early Saturday morning. He also ended up getting pepper sprayed when he "actively began to pull away." A free agent, Naanee may have talked his way into being a "former" NFL player. He had his moments in 2010, but he isn't exactly close to stardom.

Description: Legedu Naanee was held without a catch in week 15 against San Francisco.
Insight: Naanee was an afterthought with All-Pro WR Vincent Jackson inserted back into the starting lineup. Naanee was never targeted and had no impact on the game whatsoever. He?s safe to drop in all formats. (

Description: Legedu Naanee was a full participant in practice on Tuesday, per Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Insight: It looks like he's put the hamstring issue behind him, but with as healthy a receiving corps San Diego has seen all year, Naanee's targets should be far less than V-Jax or Malcom Floyd. (

Description: Legedu Naanee (hamstring) returned to practice Monday and hopes to play Thursday.
Insight: Even if Naanee does play, his role should prove to be limited with Malcom Floyd and Vincent Jackson returning to form. (
12/11/2010 1:04:00 AM
Description: Naanee is doubtful for Sunday after missing practice all week with a hamstring injury.
Insight: His starting spot will apparently either go to Seyi Ajirotutu or Vincent Jackson. Neither looks particularly trustworthy as a fantasy option. (
12/9/2010 11:03:00 PM
Description: After catching one pass for 14 yards despite starting against the Raiders on Sunday, Naanee has missed the first two practice days for Week 14 with a hamstring injury.
Insight: Naanee seems unlikely to play this week. Even if he does, he could lose his starting job to Vincent Jackson. Naanee shouldn't be owned in most fantasy leagues. (

Description: Per the San Diego Union-Tribune, Coach Norv Turner expressed optimism Tuesday that Legedu Naanee (hamstring) would finally return to game action in Week 12.
Insight: Naanee has been expected to return for several weeks now, but has experienced setbacks with his injured hamstring. Stay tuned for more details. (

Description: According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Chargers coach Norv Turner expects WR Legedu Naanee to return to action in week 11.
Insight: Naanee will take advantage of the week 10 bye, but probably still won't be 100% upon returning. With Vincent Jackson set to return in week 12 and Seyi Ajirotutu proving to be valuable, Naanee doesn't have much fantasy value to speak of. (

Description: Chargers WR Legedu Naanee (hamstring) is expected to return after the bye. SOURCE: SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE
Insight: Naanee is safe to drop with Vincent Jackson expected back Week Twelve, Patrick Crayton stepping up and Seyi Ajirotutu's push for more playing time after the last two weeks. Plus, Malcom Floyd will eventually be in the mix.
10/26/2010 3:02:00 PM
Description: According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Chargers WR Lagedu Naanee is expected to return for week 8.
Insight: Getting Naanee back would be a huge boost for a hurting receiving corps. Look for him to share starting snaps with Patrick Crayton, as Malcolm Floyd is expected to sit out again. (
10/21/2010 8:03:00 PM
Description: Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports via Twitter that Lagedu Naanee missed practice again on Thursday.
Insight: Despite his work earlier in the week, it looks as if he may not play after all. Depending on Friday's practice this could change, but Naanee won't be a good fantasy option if he's not at full strength. (
10/20/2010 8:02:00 PM
Description: Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that Lagedu Naanee missed Wednesday's practice.
Insight: However, Naanee was seen running on the sideline during practice - and reportedly looked good. He'll most likely get some reps in Thursday or Friday, leaving a decent chance that he'll be on the field in week 7 for a Chargers team already without their #1 option in Malcolm Floyd. (
10/19/2010 3:04:00 PM
Description: The North County Times reports that Chargers WR Legedu Naanee will try to resume practicing this week.
Insight: Naanee is still battling a hamstring issue and sat out of practice all last week and Sunday's game. With Malcolm Floyd mostly likely out and Antonio Gates possibly out, Naanee would provide some stability to a banged up receiving corps. (

Description: Chargers WR Legedu Naanee (hamstring) is reportedly going to try to resume practicing this week. SOURCE: NORTH COUNTY TIMES
Insight: The Chargers' receiving unit is a walking hospital ward with Naanee ailing, Malcom Floyd dealing with a hamstring injury of his own and Antonio Gates stuck with an injured toe. Naanee is considered very questionable at this point.
10/15/2010 4:00:00 PM
Description: Kevin Acee reports via Twitter that Chargers WR Legedu Naanee is not expected to play in week 6.
Insight: Naanee missed practice again on Friday with a hamstring injury and will not play on Sunday. Look for Patrick Crayton and Buster Davis to split some of his looks, but Malcolm Floyd is really the only Chargers wideout worth playing. (
10/14/2010 7:05:00 PM
Description: Lagedu Naanee was held out of Thursday's practice, Kevin Acee reported via Twitter.
Insight: After being pulled from last week's game with a hamstring issue, it's unlikely Naanee will be a factor this weekend if he even suits up at all. (
10/12/2010 8:00:00 PM
Description: Chargers WR Lagedu Naanee said he would be "fine" and was walking better on Monday, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Insight: Naanee felt a twinge in his hamstring and didn't return in Sunday's loss against the Raiders. While initially promising, his fantasy value has plummeted as he is primarily focused on blocking. (
9/16/2010 1:01:00 AM
Description: Naanee produced a game-high 110 yards and a touchdown in the Monday night loss. More than half of that came on his 59-yard touchdown.
Insight: Naanee should be picked up in just about all leagues this week, as it seems unlikely right now that Vincent Jackson will be back in San Diego. At the least, Naanee has looked like a dependable possession receiver. (
8/19/2010 2:41:00 PM
Description: Chargers WR Legedu Naanee is believed to have "almost limitless" potential this season. SOURCE: SAN DIEGO TRIBUNE-REVIEWS
Insight: We wouldn't use anything more than a very late-round pick on Naanee. He is going to be pretty low in the pecking order for targets.
8/15/2010 7:44:00 PM
Description: Legedu Naanee caught Philip Rivers' only touchdown, a 28-yarder, in Saturday's preseason opener.
Insight: Naanee is starting to pull away in the competition for the other starting receiver job opposite Malcolm Floyd. He is a name that every fantasy owner should be familiar with. (
