Description: Jason Taylor (shoulder surgery) is expected to be ready for full contact by training camp after being limited in OTAs.
Insight: Watch him to make sure he doesn't have any ill effects from the surgery in training camp. Taylor probably won't make the fantasy impact that many assume he will as a Jet, regardless of his condition. (

Description: Citing a source close to the situation, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Dolphins did make an offer to bring back Jason Taylor after the 2009 season.

Description: LaDainian Tomlinson reached out to Jason Taylor this week, encouraging the free agent to sign with the Jets.
Insight: LT2 might want to concentrate on dealing with his own recent p.r troubles after he slammed his former offensive line. Regarding Taylor, he isn't likely to have as major an effect on the Jets pass rush as some may think due to his age and injury history. (
4/9/2010 9:19:00 PM
Description: The Jets' potential offer to free agent Jason Taylor will be limited to $1.5 million due to the uncapped salary rules this season.

4/7/2010 8:26:00 PM
Description: The Jets have reportedly been "making a heavy pitch" for free agent Jason Taylor, and he will visit the team Wednesday.
