Description: Dolphins receiver Brandon Gibson suffered a torn patellar tendon Sunday against New England and will undergo surgery on Monday according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Insight: He's out for the rest of the season. Gibson was just beginning to realize his fantasy potential with three touchdowns in his last two games. Rishard Matthews will be the Dolphins' No. 3 wideout now, but he's never done anything to get fantasy owners excited.

Insight: He's believed to have suffered a torn left patellar tendon. It's a shame because Gibson was just beginning to realize his fantasy potential with three touchdowns in his last two appearances.

10/27/2013 1:42:00 PM
Description: Miami receiver Brandon Gibson suffered a left knee injury early in Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Insight: Nick Underhill of MassLive.com hears that Gibson is likely done for the day. He'll finish with one catch for four yards and a touchdown. Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline will have to pick up the slack in his absence.

3/15/2013 5:30:00 PM
Description: The Miami Dolphins agreed to a three-year contract with former Rams receiver Brandon Gibson Friday.
Insight: Gibson (51 catches, five TD, 691 yards in 2012) had his moments last season but overall he's not a receiver you can count on for consistent fantasy production, especially since Miami also has Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline and Davone Bess in the fold.

Description: It seems likely that Rams wide receiver Brandon Gibson will be playing for a new team in 2013. SOURCE: St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Insight: Gibson (51 catches, five TD, 691 yards in 2012) had his moments last season but overall he's not a receiver you can count on for consistent fantasy production. A change of scenery could do Gibson some good or it could bury him even further in the fantasy rankings. The bottom line is, we're not sold on this guy.

12/9/2012 5:24:00 PM
Description: St. Louis receiver Brandon Gibson was shut out in Week 12 and Week 13 after catching just three balls per game from Week 8-11, but he turned in 100 yards and a score on six catches Sunday.
Insight: Gibson was targeted nine times by Sam Bradford after seeing eight targets combined over his last three games. He shouldn't be trusted as a WR3, especially when Danny Amendola returns.

10/27/2012 9:54:00 AM
Description: St. Louis receiver Brandon Gibson (illness) is probable for Week 8 versus New England, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Insight: Gibson must have caught something in that lousy London weather. He's still on track to start Sunday and makes for a solid WR3 in deeper leagues against a generous New England pass defense.

10/22/2012 11:26:00 PM
Description: St. Louis receiver Brandon Gibson seems to be Sam Bradford's No. 1 target with Danny Amendola out. Gibson has 151 yards on 12 catches over the last two games.
Insight: Gibson has stepped up and should remain a decent option for fantasy owners ravaged by injuries or bye weeks until Amendola returns in a month.

9/10/2012 10:54:00 AM
Description: St. Louis receiver Brandon Gibson caught Sam Bradford's only touchdown pass in Week 1.
Insight: Gibson finished with four catches for 51 yards, but he doesn't figure to be a very consistent receiving option. Danny Amendola is the most reliable fantasy option on this team, with Gibson, Steve Smith and rookie Brian Quick rounding out the rotation.

9/3/2012 1:05:00 PM
Description: St. Louis receiver Brandon Gibson is questionable for Sunday's game against Detroit with a hamstring injury.
Insight: Gibson looked like a candidate to start for the Rams at the beginning of training camp but now that appears that Steve Smith and Danny Amendola will get the nod. With rookies Brian Quick and Chris Givens the long-term future for the Rams, Gibson's role is up in the air.

8/16/2012 12:08:00 PM
Description: St. Louis receiver Brandon Gibson will sit out practice for the second week in a row as he deals with a sore hamstring.
Insight: Gibson looked like a candidate to start for the Rams at the beginning of training camp but now that appears to be in question as he hasn't been able to help his case from the sidelines. Look for Danny Amendola and Steve Smith to get plenty of looks in practice while Gibson is out.

8/6/2012 11:23:00 AM
Description: Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, notes that wideout Brandon Gibson has been working as a first-team receiver.
Insight: We think rookie Brian Quick will start at one spot, and while fellow rookie Chris Givens has received a lot of press, the spot opposite Quick is an open competition betweeen Gibson, Givens, Greg Sales and Steve Smith. Early on Gibson has the edge because of quarterback Sam Bradford's familiarity with the thrird-year veteran.

10/15/2010 9:08:00 AM
Description: There is belief that Rams WR Brandon Gibson is the "best candidate" to replace WR Mark Clayton's production among the team's receivers. SOURCE: ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
Insight: In the past, Gibson has shown that he could be a fantasy commodity if targeted enough, but it's too soon to say which receiver will be Sam Bradford's go-to guy. We suspect Danny Amendola will be the best fantasy asset from this group.

9/23/2010 8:28:00 AM
Description: According to Rams HC Steve Spagnuolo, WR Brandon Gibson is not close to becoming a regular game-day contributor. SOURCE: ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
Insight: The changes made to the receiving core this past offseason left Gibson worthless in all league formats. He is safe to drop if you still have him.
