Description: The Chiefs placed WR Jerheme Urban on injured reserve with a torn flexor tendon in the ring finger on his right hand. SOURCE: VICTORIA ADVOCATE
Insight: Urban wasn't much of a fantasy prospect anyway, doing most of his work on special teams in 2010.

Description: Urban has been placed on injured reserve.
Insight: Urban didn't appear likely to get a ton of looks, but his departure from the lineup can only help target numbers for players such as Dexter McCluster, Jamaal Charles and rookie TE Tony Moeaki. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: According to the Chiefs official website, WR Jerheme Urban is "in line for the most extensive action of his career."
Insight: Urban has proven to be effective in small bursts when he gets into the action. He would make for an intriguing PPR league pickup if either Dwayne Bowe or Chris Chambers were to get injured. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: ESPN's Bill Williamson reports that the Chiefs believe that Urban can be a big contributor this season.
Insight: His skills are underrated and he will have more of a chance to utilize them in Kansas City. However, he's still going to be playing behind Dewayne Bowe and Chris Chambers, so they shouldn't get too excited yet. (SportsBuff.com)
3/11/2010 8:31:00 PM
Description: The Chiefs signed Urban on Wednesday.
Insight: He rejoins Todd Haley in Kansas City. Urban is a good slot receiver, but playing behind Dwayne Bowe and Chris Chambers, you shouldn't expect much in a fantasy sense. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: The Arizona Republic reports Urban did not receive a tender from the Cardinals.
Insight: Urban is now an unrestricted free agent, and he could latch on somewhere as depth at WR. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: According to AZ Cardinals.com, Urban is expected to split the Cardinals' No. 3 wide receiver role with Early Doucet if Anquan Boldin (right ankle) has to miss this week's game against Chicago.
Insight: Splitting time limits Urban's fantasy appeal if this situation comes to fruition. Steve Breaston would get the biggest bump in value if Boldin can't go, since he would step in as a starter opposite Larry Fitzgerald. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: According to the Arizona Republic, Urban would be the Cardinals' No. 3 wide receiver if Anquan Boldin (right ankle) can't go on Sunday night against the Giants.
Insight: Steve Breaston would move into Boldin's starting spot in that scenario, and Urban would move into Breaston's No. 3 spot and also into some fantasy potential if you have a bye week issue this week. (SportsBuff.com)
9/17/2009 10:14:00 AM
Description: With Anquan Boldin (hamstring) and Steve Breaston (knee) both dealing with injuries, Urban could see significant action.
Insight: Urban had five receptions for 74 yards in Week 1 against San Francisco, when Boldin was less than 100% and Breaston was inactive. He could put up similar numbers this week against Jacksonville if Boldin and Breaston are still limited. (SportsBuff.com)
4/11/2009 2:01:00 PM
Description: Urban had 34 receptions for 448 yards and four touchdowns last season for Arizona.
Insight: Urban was the fourth wide receiver on the depth chart in Arizona and only has fantasy value in deeper leagues. Of course if Anquan Boldin does move on, Urban's fantasy value increase. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: Urban stole the headlines from his better known compatriots. He had 87 yards and the Cardinals lone receiving TD.
Insight: Urban had 287 yards receiving coming into the game, so he probably wasn't a big part of the Vikings defensive gameplan. His yards came with the game essentially over, so no need to run out and sign him up. (SportsBuff.com)
