Description: Packers center Jeff Saturday has announced his retirement.
Insight: Saturday made the announcement in Hawaii where he'll play in his final Pro Bowl later this weekend. Saturday was generally regarded as one of the best offensive linemen in football during his 17 seasons in the league. He won his only Super Bowl with the Colts in 2006.

Description: The addition of five-time Pro Bowl center Jeff Saturday to the Packers already solid offensive line could make them the best unit in the league.
Insight: It's scary to think what Aaron Rodgers can do if he has even more time in the pocket. It could also bode very well for Packers deep threat Greg Jennings and the running game.

Description: Jeff Saturday will not join his former teammate Peyton Manning in Denver. Instead, Saturday has agreed to a two-year deal with the Packers.
Insight: Saturday will serve as a replacement for Scott Wells, who left Green Bay to sign with the Rams last week. Saturday is another big body who should provide good protection for Aaron Rodgers on the Packers' front line.

Description: Jeff Saturday could be a possibility for the Broncos, now that Peyton Manning is headed to Denver.
Insight: Saturday has played with Manning as the Colts' center since 2000 and the two are good friends. Manning hasn't asked the Broncos to sign him but it would probably make Peyton's adjustment to Denver easier if he and Saturday can reunite.

Description: The Colts will be without their starting center once again today, as Jeff Saturday is inactive for the third straight week. San Diego NT Jamal Williams had a big IDP game two weeks ago, and then Peyton Manning struggled in Cleveland last week. The Bengals don't have a strong IDP factor in the middle, though, and are too weak an injured to stop the Colts' passing game. (
