(Sports Network) - The Chicago Bears will travel to Oakland to take on the Raiders on Friday in the pivotal third preseason game for both clubs.
Marc Trestman earned his first victory as head coach of the Bears with a 33-28 win over the San Diego Chargers in his Soldier Field debut last week.
Matt Forte carried the ball eight times for 74 yards and a touchdown in that one, while Michael Bush had 11 carries for 37 yards and a score.
Brandon Marshall had four catches for 38 yards and a touchdown for the Bears. Jay Cutler completed 4-of-5 passes for 38 yards, one touchdown and an interception in the victory.
The Raiders, meanwhile, are coming off a 28-20 setback in New Orleans last week. Matt Flynn, the presumptive favorite to be Oakland's starting quarterback in the regular season, was 12-for-16 for 124 yards and a touchdown in the loss.
Darren McFadden ran five times for 17 yards for Oakland, which narrowly defeated the Cowboys, 19-17, in their preseason opener.
The Bears and Raiders have meet nine times previously in preseason play with the Raiders holding a slight 5-4 edge after winning the last three such contests.
