Broncos, Latimer agree to deal

Englewood, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Wide receiver Cody Latimer was one of three 2014 draft choices to sign his rookie contract with the Denver Broncos on Monday.

Latimer, Denver's second-round pick (No. 56 overall), joined offensive lineman Matt Paradis (sixth round) and linebacker Corey Nelson (seventh round) as those agreeing to terms.

A second-team All-Big Ten media selection in 2013, Latimer hauled in 72 passes totaling 1,096 yards during his junior season at Indiana. The 6-foot-2, 215- pound prospect is expected to vie for immediate playing time in a Broncos' receiving corps that lost wideout Eric Decker through free agency during the offseason.

Paradis started 25 games at center for Boise State over the past two seasons and earned second-team All-Mountain West honors as a senior. Nelson is coming off an injury-shortened senior campaign at Oklahoma in which he tore his pectoral muscle after just five games.

The Broncos have yet to sign Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby, the club's 2014 first-round pick (No. 31 overall).
