One of the top tacklers in the nation, was the 2011 preseason Western Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was named First-Team All-WAC for the third year in a row...On the 2011 preseason watch lists for the Butkus and Lombardi Awards and the Bronko Naguski Trophy, he was named the Most Outstanding Player for the North in the annual Senior Bowl as he made seven tackles and had an interception...Led the WAC and ranked eighth in the country in tackles with 11.3 per game as a senior...Dominated the league in 2010 as well as he ranked seventh nationally with 11.1 tackles per game, finishing second overall in the WAC with 133 total takedowns...Logged a pair of picks anda team-best 115 tackles in just his second year for the Aggies...Was thrown into the fire as a freshman when he started nine of 11 games for Utah State, finishing with 51 stops...Was invited to take part in the NFL Combine but could not due to pneumonia, but still turned heads at his pro day when he ran a 4.46 40, and because of that he might be targeted as an outside linebacker at the pro level.
