Description: Bobcats guard Ramon Sessions (sprained MCL) can bend his joint but cannot rotate it, according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer. He can also ride a stationary bike, but hasn't progressed to pool work yet.
Insight: Sessions was given a timetable of 2-4 weeks and he has already missed two weeks. Ben Gordon has seen the biggest boost in minutes, as expected.

3/7/2013 6:06:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ramon Sessions will miss 2-4 weeks with a sprained MCL in his left knee, according to Steve Reed of the Associated Press. Sessions won't need surgery.
Insight: Sessions is only averaging 9.6 ppg on 38 percent shooting in 22 mpg over his last seven contests after putting up 15 ppg in his first 54 games this season. The Bobcats don't really have another point guard on the roster right now but Ben Gordon should see a minutes boost as the new sixth man.

Cold3/3/2013 8:40:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ramon Sessions missed all five of his field-goal attempts in 17 minutes Sunday as part of a four-point game (4-4 FT).
Insight: Sessions has only played 17.5 mpg over the past two contests and averaged 8.0 ppg in his last five.

2/20/2013 9:38:00 PM
Description: Bobcats point guard Ramon Sessions made 6-of-11 from the field (2-3 3PT) and 4-6 from the foul line for 18 points with eight assists, six rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes off the bench Wednesday versus Detroit.
Insight: Sessions is 10th in the NBA in free-throw attempts per game with 5.9, and he has made 85 percent of them. That has helped him average a career-high 15 ppg.

2/9/2013 10:58:00 PM
Description: Bobcats point guard Ramon Sessions scored 20 points on 6-of-16 shooting (7-7 FT) with four assists, three rebounds and one steal Saturday versus Philadelphia.
Insight: This is what we have come to expect from Sessions this season -- mediocre shooting percentage, strong free-throw percentage on a ton of attempts. He's averaging a career-high 15 ppg.

1/23/2013 9:36:00 PM
Description: Bobcats point guard Ramon Sessions dumped in a season-high 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting (6-6 FT) with five assists, three rebounds, two steals, one three and one turnover Wednesday in a loss to Atlanta.
Insight: Sessions has been a consistent scorer despite shooting around 40 percent from the field this season mainly because he has attempted the ninth-most free throws in the NBA. He has collected 201 of his 615 points at the foul line and is averaging a career-high 14.6 ppg.

1/14/2013 10:13:00 PM
Description: Bobcats point guard Ramon Sessions scored 16 points with four rebounds, three assists and one trey Monday night against the Celtics.
Insight: Sessions will throw in a dud every few games but he usually scores in double figures with decent assist totals. Unfortunately, averaging fewer than one three and one steal per game makes him a fringe fantasy option at best.

1/4/2013 9:52:00 PM
Description: Bobcats point guard Ramon Sessions scored 20 points with six assists, five rebounds and one steal on Friday. Twelve of his points came at the free-throw line (12-12).
Insight: Sessions is shooting well over his last 11 games -- 46.5 percent on 10.4 field goal attempts per game -- after hitting just 37.5 percent on 12 attempts per game over his first 21 contests. With Kemba Walker, Gerald Henderson, Ben Gordon and Jeff Taylor all vying for shots, Sessions is going to have to continue to do more with less to make a fantasy impact.

12/23/2012 10:27:00 AM
Description: Bobcats point guard Ramon Sessions tied a season high with 23 points (8-13 FG, 7-9 FT) Saturday at Denver.
Insight: Sessions has picked up the scoring pace again after a brief decline, averaging 14.1 points in 24 mpg over his last nine games. Ben Gordon, who missed Saturday's game, has fallen behind Sessions among Charlotte's bench guards.

12/13/2012 11:11:00 PM
Description: Bobcats point guard Ramon Sessions shot 5-of-8 for 16 points (2-3 3PT, 4-4 FT) with four assists, three rebounds and three turnovers in 22 minutes off the bench Thursday at Atlanta.
Insight: Sessions is only averaging 11.1 ppg on 34.7 percent shooting in 24 mpg over his last 10 games. He shot 40.2 percent and played 29 mpg while averaging 17.2 ppg his first 12 games. Sessions is still locked in as Charlotte's backup point guard but he's no longer receiving minutes at the other guard spot -- those minutes are being split between Jeffery Taylor, Gerald Henderson and Ben Gordon.

11/19/2012 9:24:00 PM
Description: Bobcats point guard Ramon Sessions led Charlotte with 23 points on 6-of-13 shooting (10-of-10 FT) Monday against Milwaukee.
Insight: Sessions has scored in double figures in all nine games this season despite coming off the bench in all of them. He's getting a ton of shots right now and though he could see his playing time reduced when Gerald Henderson returns to the lineup, he's a must-add if available.

11/13/2012 10:35:00 PM
Description: Bobcats point guard Ramon Sessions has surprisingly scored in double figures in all six games this season despite coming off the bench in all of them. He had 21 points on 7-of-18 shooting Tuesday against the Wizards.
Insight: Sessions is entrenched behind Kemba Walker but has emerged as a solid fantasy option, averaging 16 points and 4.7 assists per game. Expect that to drop when Gerald Henderson returns from injury.

7/12/2012 3:07:00 PM
Description: Point guard Ramon Sessions has agreed in principle to sign with the Charlotte Bobcats, according to the Charlotte Observer.
Insight: Sessions averaged 12.7 points, 6.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 23 games with the Lakers after coming over from Cleveland in the middle of last season. He'll likely serve as Charlotte's starting PG, which will keep Kemba Walker on the bench. Last year's starter D.J. Augustin is being pursued by the Indiana Pacers.

7/5/2012 10:23:00 PM
Description: The Mavericks are pursuing free agent point guard Ramon Sessions.
Insight: Dallas has been striking out so far in free agency but now that the Lakers have committed to Steve Nash at point guard, this actually looks like a realistic destination for Sessions. The five-year veteran averaged 12.7 ppg and 6.2 apg in 23 games for Los Angeles at the end of last season. He came over from Cleveland at the trade deadline in mid-March.

6/19/2012 9:59:00 PM
Description: Lakers point guard Ramon Sessions will opt out of his deal and become an unrestricted free agent.
Insight: Sessions (11.3 ppg, 5.5 apg) has expressed interest in returning to the Lakers but if he goes elsewhere, it will be interesting to see if the Lakers offer a contract to veteran point guard Steve Nash. Nash is said to be interested in joining a team that can compete for the championship.

4/26/2012 8:29:00 PM
Description: Despite giving Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol the night off, head coach Mike Brown is expected to keep Ramon Sessions in the starting lineup tonight against Sacramento.
Insight: That doesn't mean Sessions will play the whole game but you should get at least some production out of the Lakers' point guard tonight.

4/9/2012 3:55:00 PM
Description: Ramon Sessions is dealing with a bad shoulder, but is expected to be in the lineup for Monday night's game with the Hornets.
Insight: Sessions should have plenty of opportunities to score with Kobe Bryant expected to miss the game. He's averaging 13.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg and 7.4 apg in a Lakers uniform.

4/6/2012 3:46:00 PM
Description: Ramon Sessions sprained the AC joint in his left shoulder against the Clippers but he will play against Houston on Friday, ESPN Los Angeles' Dave McMenamin reports.
Insight: Sessions has turned into a solid PG play since joining Los Angeles, averaging 14 points and 7.3 assists with excellent shooting percentages across the board in 12 games with the Lakers.

Hot3/24/2012 11:15:00 AM
Description: On Friday night Ramon Sessions made his first start as the Los Angeles Lakers starting point guard.
Insight: Sessions thrived in the role, scoring 20 points, handing out 11 assists and pulling down six rebounds. His outside shooting ability could take some of the pressure off Kobe Bryant. This backcourt combination could work.

3/23/2012 4:10:00 PM
Description: Coach Mike Brown has made the move to Ramon Sessions as the Lakers starting point guard with Steve Blake coming off the bench.
Insight: Sessions has averaged 12.0 ppg, 6.0 apg and 3.3 rpg over his four games with the Lakers. Those numbers are likely to go up playing on the "first" team.
