Insight: Deng did practice at the morning shootaround and even with the 20 minutes Granger only managed four points, zero rebounds and assists. He's not fantasy worthy.

Insight: Luol Deng is a "minutes hog" and should keep Granger on the bench for long stretches. Granger has yet to play this season. He has been in steep decline for a few years now and has little fantasy value.

Insight: Granger was traded from Indiana to Philadelphia at the deadline and then bought out of his contract. He averaged 8.3 points on 35.9 percent shooting in 22.5 minutes per game with the Pacers this season and no longer has the legs to be a fantasy option. Even with Jamal Crawford's expected 2-3 game absence, there's no need to pick up Granger.

Insight: General manager Sam Hinkie was noncommital on the subject Friday though buying out Granger seems like it would be the right move. Granger was reportedly furious he was traded to Philadelphia and it's clear he wouldn't be part of the team's rebuilding process. Granger (8.3 ppg, 3.6 rpg) won't be in action Friday versus Dallas.

Insight: You have to feel for Granger here. After eight and a half years in Indiana, Granger (8.3 ppg, 3.6 rpg) goes from the best team in the Eastern Conference to the second-worst. It's actually good for fantasy owners though as Granger should see more playing time in Philly than he did with the Pacers.
