Description: Thunder center Kendrick Perkins (groin) will play Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman.
Insight: Perkins returned from a groin injury last Thursday but sat out Friday and wasn't expected to play in back-to-backs the rest of the season. However, he'll be available for the next two. He's not a good fantasy option.

Description: OKC center Kendrick Perkins practice Wednesday and could play Thursday, though Friday is more likely.
Insight: Perkins (3.4 ppg, 5.0 rpg) can't score and his rebounding isn't much. He has little to no fantasy value even when healthy.

Insight: He'll be out for the rest of the game. Perkins has been awful all season and tonight was no exception. He produced just one rebound in eight minutes of action. The Thunder seem content playing without a center for the time being.

4/15/2013 7:28:00 PM
Description: Thunder center Kendrick Perkins won't be in action Monday against Sacramento. He's out with a bum hamstring.
Insight: Perkins sat out Friday for the same reason. Perkins is a strong defensive player but he's never been much of a stat stuffer (6.0 ppg, 6.2 rpg in 614 career games).

2/22/2013 7:35:00 PM
Description: Oklahoma City center Kendrick Perkins will suit up Friday night against the Timberwolves. Perkins sat out Wednesday because of a sore knee.
Insight: Perkins (4.6 ppg, 5.9 rpg) isn't a fantasy behemoth by any means but he's a decent enough rebounder and could be worth a look in deeper leagues.

2/22/2013 12:15:00 PM
Description: Thunder center Kendrick Perkins missed Wednesday's game against Houston due to a sprained right knee, but participated in Friday morning's shootaround and will be a game-time decision.

Description: Kendrick Perkins will start at center Monday night in Game 1 of the Thunder's second round series against the Lakers. Perkins strained his hip in Oklahoma City's first round series against the Mavericks.
Insight: He's a strong defender and a decent rebounder but Perkins isn't a guy you want on your fantasy team. Perkins averaged just 3.8 ppg and 6.3 rpg against Dallas in the first round.

5/14/2012 11:38:00 AM
Description: Thunder center Kendrick Perkins is probable for Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals Monday against the LA Lakers with a strained right hip. Perkins suffered the injury early in Oklahoma City's Game 4 win over the Mavericks on Saturday.
Insight: Perkins had a few days off which will help as he battles a strong Lakers front line which includes Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol. Perkins isn't needed to score in the Thunder offense, but his rebounding and defense is essential if Oklahoma City is to control the Lakers inside game.

5/7/2012 7:42:00 PM
Description: Kendrick Perkins is day-to-day with a strained right hip. Perkins suffered the injury early in Oklahoma City's Game 4 win over the Mavericks on Saturday.
Insight: Perkins should have a few days to heal up before the Thunder open the second round of the playoffs against either the Lakers or the Nuggets. If Perkins (3.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg in the first round) is unable to suit up for Game 1, expect Nazr Mohammed or Nick Collison to start in his place.

5/5/2012 10:17:00 PM
Description: Kendrick Perkins strained his right hip in the first half of Saturday's Game 4 against the Mavericks. He did not return to the game.
Insight: Nick Collison (four points in 20 minutes) and Nazr Mohammed (four points in 11 minutes) both logged extra minutes tonight with Perkins injured. Now that Oklahoma City has already advanced to the second round, Perkins should have plenty of time to rest his hip before the Thunder's next game.
