Description: Thunder backup center Hasheem Thabeet is doubtful for Tuesday's game against Dallas.
Insight: Even with Kendrick Perkins sidelined, Thabeet sees very few minutes on the court and has no fantasy value at this time.

Description: Thunder center Hasheem Thabeet is probable for Friday's game against Minnesota after serving his one-game suspension.
Insight: Thabeet is playing behind Kendrick perkins and Steven Adams and has little to no fantasy value at this time.

Description: Hasheem Thabeet will start at center for the Thunder Wednesday night in Houston.
Insight: Wednesday will be Thabeet's first start of the season. Thabeet's massive height advantage (he's the tallest player in the NBA at 7-foot-3) makes him a decent shot blocker but his offensive game (just 2.5 ppg this season) isn't developed enough for him to be considered a realistic fantasy option. The former UConn star will head back to the bench as soon as Kendrick Perkins (4.6 ppg, 5.9 rpg) recovers from his knee injury.

Description: Thabeet went from the Grizzlies to the Rockets before Thursday's trade deadline.
Insight: Thabeet is in the midst of a second straight disappointing season and will begin as the backup in Houston. He sits behind a starter in Chuck Hayes who averages just 7.5 points and seven boards a night, though, so the trade makes more sense if the Rockets are willing to give him a shot at significance. Description: The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to trade Hasheem Thabeet, former number two pick in the draft, for Shane Battier. SOURCE: Yahoo!
Insight: An interesting take he is that Shane Battier was traded away by Memphis to acquire Rudy Gay on draft day 2006 (one of the best draft day trades ever). Battier will now be a stop-gap small forward while Rudy Gay is on the mend from his shoulder injury. Chase Budinger, coming off a 30-point outburst, is an attractive add in deep leagues for now. Battier, Sam Young, O.J. Mayo and Tony Allen will cancel each other out a bit and cutting them in standard leagues for a hot commodity sees like a savvy move. Thabeet is obviously a long way from becoming relevant in anything other than a very deep league.

Description: Thabeet had a good game in the Grizzlie's preseason opener going 3-for-3 from the field and getting 10 points, five rebounds, a steal and a blcok in 13 minutes of floor time.
Insight: Thabeet could earn enough playing time to be roster worthy in deeper format leagues as a block specialist. (RapidDraft.com)
