Description: San Antonio forward Matt Bonner has been diagnosed with a strained right calf. SOURCE: Spurs on Twitter
Insight: He'll be out for at least two weeks. This probably doesn't mean much to fantasy owners as Bonner has only averaged 3.1 ppg in 57 games this season.

Description: Matt Bonner expects to play Saturday in Utah. Bonner has been bothered by a right quadriceps injury.
Insight: Bonner was scoreless in nine minutes of action in Game 2 against the Jazz but he scored nine points in Game 1 and remains about as solid a three-point shooter as you're going to find (42 percent from that distance this season).

Description: After missing Wednesday night's contest against the Timberwolves with back spasms, Matt Bonner is expected to be back in the San Antonio lineup tonight against Dallas.
Insight: One wounded warrior returns from back spasms (Bonner) and another leaves with the same injury (Tiago Splitter). If Bonner's back feels good, he'll probably have a chance to play a lot tonight. Bonner doesn't rebound well for a big but he's a terrific three-point shooter (44.9% this season). Just something to keep in mind as you put together your fantasy lineups for tonight.

Description: Bonner hit four three-pointers on his way to 14 points in a win over New Orleans.
Insight: Bonner has hit 50% of his three-pointers for San Antonio. He only averages 7.1 points and does not get consistent minutes, but if you need three-pointers you could look at him. (

Description: Matt Bonner made all seven of his three-point attempts for 21 points in Sunday's win over Oklahoma City.
Insight: Popovich went with the hot hand tonight and Bonner got a lot of people excited in San Antonio. He is nothing more than an add-drop in daily leagues until San Antonio gets bitten by the injury bug.
10/28/2010 1:02:00 PM
Description: Bonner will miss the next few games after spraining his ankle, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
Insight: Bonner has been a designated three-point shooter for the Spurs for the last four seasons. He has minimal value even the deepest of fantasy leagues. (
