Description: An absolutely preposterous series of events unfolded Wednesday in Cleveland as Lakers center Robert Sacre was allowed to keep playing despite picking up his sixth foul with just over three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
Insight: Because the Lakers only had four eligible players left (Nick Young and Jordan Farmar got hurt and Chris Kaman fouled out earlier in the game) and the league doesn't allow forfeits, Sacre played the final three and a half minutes with six fouls. If he had committed a seventh, he would have been just the second player in NBA history to accomplish that feat. If that had happened, the Lakers would have been whistled for a technical for each of Sacre's subsequent fouls. Amazingly, Los Angeles still won the game, 119-108. Sacre finished the night with ten points on 5-of-8 shooting.

Description: Center Robert Sacre will start for the Lakers Friday against the Kings, according to Kevin Ding of Turner Sports.
Insight: Jordan Hill will be moved back to the bench because Mike D'Antoni, "likes ... letting Hill play in shorter bursts." Hill averaged 15 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in a seven-game stretch from Nov. 12-26 but he has played just 17 minutes per game over the last three. Sacre can be left on the free agent wire for now.

Description: With Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol and Jordan Hill all injured, Robert Sacre has been the Lakers starter for the past few games.
Insight: He's averaging about 25 minutes and scoring 6.7 ppg, 3.0 rpg. He'll start for about one more week until Howard returns. These numbers aren't enough to warrant fantasy attention. Power forward Earl Clark is a better option.
