Notes:
2011: Selected by Dallas in 1st round (26th overall) of the NBA Draft; Traded to Denver in a four-player deal, June 23rd...2014: Traded to Houston for Aaron Brooks, Feb. 20th; Signed with Toronto.

First Team All-Big 12 selection as a sophomore...Averaged 18.6 ppg and 7.7 rpg for the Longhorns...The epitome of versatility, with the ability to be a force at small forward or shooting guard...Possesses a variety of moves that can get him through the lane or that can help him create his own shot...Once in the lane Hamilton has enough strength and athleticism to score in multiple ways...He also uses his strength to crash the boards, making him a force on the glass as well...Plays with great tenacity and isn`t afraid to do dirty work in the paint...While he is athletic enough to play the two guard he is still far too inconsistent with his shot...He has a nice shot, but he tends to fade away too much and takes too many questionable shots...His inability to harness his shooting proves he is still a bit immature offensively...Another concern is his lack of foot speed, which could hurt him defensively at the next level.
