Description: Nuggets forward Darrell Arthur scored a season-high 20 points coming off the bench against the Rockets on Saturday.
Insight: Arthur was 7-of-14 shooting as he led the Nuggets with points. Arthur hit on 4-of-9 3-point attempts and grabbed six rebounds. Great production for 24 minutes, but he will have to do it a couple more times to prove to be fantasy worth. He is averaging 8.9 ppg and 4.4 rpg in Decemeber.

Description: Nuggets forward Darrell Arthur is questionable for Tuesday's game against Portland.
Insight: Arthur (5.0 ppg, 3.1 rpg) has a left hip strain. He doesn't have any fantasy value, but if he doesn't dress then Kenneth Faried (10.9 ppg, 7.5 rpg) will see more time and is a better fantasy option.

Insight: Arthur (5.0 ppg, 3.1 rpg) suffered a left hip strain. He'll finish the evening with zero points in five minutes of playing time. This injury shouldn't affect many fantasy teams.

4/9/2013 11:55:00 AM
Description: Memphis power forward Darrell Arthur is questionable for Tuesday's game against Charlotte. He's dealing with a sore back.
Insight: Arthur has scored two total points in three games since putting up 15 against Minnesota on March 30th. He's only useful in fantasy leagues when Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph are both out of the lineup.

4/7/2013 5:44:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica reports that Memphis forward Darrell Arthur won't be available for Sunday's game against Sacramento. He's out with a sore back.
Insight: Arthur has scored two total points in three games since putting up 15 against Minnesota on March 30th. He's only useful in fantasy leagues when Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph are out of the lineup.

3/23/2013 10:44:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies forward Darrell Arthur started at power forward Saturday in place of Zach Randolph, who was being disciplined for showing up late to morning shootaround, and had 18 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in 29 minutes.
Insight: Arthur was playing his second game since returning from back and neck injuries that kept him out for nine games this month. The team is going to need him to play at least 25 minutes with Marc Gasol out indefinitely with an abdominal tear.

3/14/2013 12:34:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies forward Darrell Arthur (neck, back) says he doesn't expect to play this week due to intense neck and back soreness. "More than anything, I want to come back 100 percent," Arthur said. "I don’t want to go out there and reinjure myself. I’m trying to take my time and make sure I’m right." SOURCE: CommercialAppeal.com
Insight: Arthur is having difficulty just bending over so we don't expect to see him back in any of the next two games. Ed Davis scored 12.7 points with 9.0 rebounds per game in the three games prior to Wednesday but he only played 14 minutes against the Clippers. With Zach Randolph back in the lineup, Davis cannot be trusted as a consistent fantasy option.

3/13/2013 9:27:00 AM
Description: Grizzlies forward Darrell Arthur has been downgraded to doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Clippers with a stiff neck and back.
Insight: Arthur is buried on the depth chart and only sees enough playing time when injuries strike the Grizzlies. With Zach Randolph likely back in the lineup even if Arthur were to return he wouldn't get on the court enough to be a viable option.

1/23/2013 10:30:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies forward Darrell Arthur went off for a season-high 20 points Wednesday in a 106-93 win against the Lakers.
Insight: Arthur had only reached double-digit points seven times this season prior to Wednesday's scoring outburst. He also matched a season-high with nine rebounds. Arthur is likely going to get more playing time as a reserve power forward-center now that Marreese Speights has been dealt to Cleveland.

12/17/2012 10:04:00 AM
Description: Memphis PF/C Darrell Arthur is doubtful for Monday's game against Chicago with concussion symptoms.
Insight: Arthur is a useful bench player for Memphis, but as long as Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol and Marreese Speights are healthy he won't see enough playing time to put up fantasy-worthy numbers.

11/30/2012 1:40:00 PM
Description: Memphis PF/C Darrell Arthur, who just returned from a broken leg three games ago and is still finding his way, is probable for Friday's game against Detroit with sore knees.
Insight: Arthur has some game, but as long as Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol and Marreese Speights are healthy he won't see enough playing time to put up fantasy-worthy numbers.

4/25/2011 9:47:00 PM
Description: Tony Allen provided great energy off the bench to total 12 points, three steals, and two assists in his 27 minutes of action. Darrell Arthur was a factor off the bench with 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting in 17 minutes.
Insight: Most people that don't play fantasy basketball or are Memphis fans know much about Darrell Arthur, but this guy was one of the best big men off the bench for the entire season. He is in a wonderful position to succeed behind two of the better big men in the league and will be an elite handcuff-type guy in the late rounds of most drafts. Tony Allen is having a fantastic postseason, too.

3/18/2011 3:52:00 AM
Description: The beat goes on for Darrell Arthur as he looked good yet again with 15 points, seven boards, four assists, and a steal in 28 minutes during Thursday's loss.
Insight: The Kansas product is quietly pushing top-120 status in eight-cat leagues. He is one of the best bench bigs in the league and should be owned in most deep leagues for his fairly consistent production.

1/29/2011 11:37:00 PM
Description: Darrell Arthur had a a fantastic night in the win against Washington with 22 points, five boards, and a block in 27 minutes of action.
Insight: Arthur could be a decent player while we wait for O.J. Mayo to return from suspension. Rudy Gay can play more of a two-guard position and the Grizzlies can go bigger by playing Arthur at the three. He's only an option for deep leagues, obviously.
