Description: Celtics guard Evan Turner had a weird, but productive line on Friday night.
Insight: He shot 3-of-15 from the field and 3-of-6 from the line for just nine points. Turner, however, did have 15 rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and two turnovers. He will continue to start for Boston.

Description: Celtics guard Evan Turner played well in Saturday's win over the Bulls.
Insight: He had 19 points, six assists, five rebounds, and two turnovers in a start at point guard. Owners should not expect Turner to be consistent at all this season.

Description: Celtics' Evan Turner is a candidate to start at point guard on opening night.
Insight: Turner has gained the trust of coach Brad Stevens and with Rajon Rondo out a few weeks, Turner could start at the point. Rookie Marcus Smart is the long-term answer at point guard for Boston, but if Stevens elects to go with experience, Turner will be the guy.

Description: Pacers coach Frank Vogel changed up his rotation in the final three games of the team's first-round series against the Hawks, which meant hardly any playing time for Evan Turner and Luis Scola.
Insight: Turner played four minutes in Game 5 while Scola was on the court for eight, and neither player left the bench in Games 6 and 7. Vogel said after Sunday's practice that he expects both Turner and Scola to have a "much greater role" in the next series versus the Wizards, according to
3/14/2014 9:41:00 PM
Description: Pacers G/F Evan Turner had just two points in 21 minutes Friday at Philadelphia, his former team.

2/25/2014 9:18:00 PM
Description: Evan Turner had 13 points, six rebounds and two assists over 26 minutes in his Pacers debut Tuesday against the Lakers.
Insight: Indiana acquired the 25-year-old Turner from the Sixers after he averaged 34.9 minutes, 17.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 3.7 apg. He won't play more than 20-23 minutes most nights and only saw 26 Tuesday because the Pacers had a huge lead entering the fourth quarter. All five starters played under their season average in minutes, including Paul George with 28 (averages 36) and Lance Stephenson with 33 (averages 35.5).
2/25/2014 6:58:00 PM
Description: Pacers G/F Evan Turner will be available Tuesday, according to Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: Turner hasn't made his debut with Indiana yet after coming over from the Sixers. The 25-year-old averaged 17.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 3.7 apg with Philadelphia but played 34.9 mpg. He'll only get around 20-25 minutes per game with Indiana and his low shooting percentage won't allow him to be a fantasy option in that limited amount of time.

Description: Pacers G/F Evan Turner and big man Lavoy Allen will not play in Saturday's game with Milwaukee, according to beat reporter Candace Buckner

Description: In what will go down as the biggest deal of this year's trade deadline, the Pacers received Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen Thursday in exchange for small forward Danny Granger. SOURCE: Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo Sports
Insight: It's a huge win for the Pacers as Turner figures to be a valuable sixth man off the bench. If Turner can produce anything close to the 17.4 ppg he was averaging in Philadelphia, Indiana is going to be tough to beat.

Description: Evan Turner torched the Knicks for 34 points and 11 rebounds Wednesday in a 110-106 Sixers win.
Insight: Turner had 28 points combined in his previous three contests. It's good to see him get back on track after a rough stretch. Turner should be worth a start in his next game Friday against the Raptors.
Cold1/21/2014 1:05:00 PM
Description: Philadelphia SG/SF Evan Turner could see time at backup PG, according to coach Brett Brown.
Insight: Turner has cracked the 20-point mark just once in the past eight games and putting the ball in his hands might be just the thing to break him out of the slump. Backup PG Tony Wroten figures to be sidelined for a while.
1/15/2014 9:32:00 PM
Description: Philadelphia small forward Evan Turner had 23 points on 10-of-19 shooting with seven rebounds, four assists and one steal Wednesday against the Bobcats.

Description: Philadelphia small forward Evan Turner is expected to play Saturday against Phoenix despite a sore knee. SOURCE: Bob Cooney, Daily News

Description: Sixers G/F Evan Turner made 13-of-22 from the field, including the game-winner as time expired in overtime, and had 29 points, 10 rebounds and five assists Friday against the Nets.
Insight: Turner averaged 21.5 ppg over his first 19 games of the season, but his average dropped to 13.3 ppg over his previous seven games. His swoon coincided with Michael Carter-Williams' seven-game absence due to a knee injury and his big game Friday came in MCW's first game back in the lineup.
