Description: Hawks point guard Shelvin Mack had by far his biggest game of the season Wednesday versus the Cavaliers.
Insight: Mack played 23 minutes, the most he has been on the floor this month, and scored 24 points. Mack shot an incredible 6-for-6 from downtown and 7-of-8 from the field overall. Judging by the fact Mack had just six 3-point attempts in the last four games combined, he is never going to repeat this performance.

Description: With Jeff Teague (ankle) back in the starting lineup Saturday Shelvin Mack was expected to move to the bench, but he started again, this time at shooting guard.
Insight: Paul Millsap's absence due to a knee contusion opened up a spot in the starting lineup, allowing Mack to stay in after putting up 21 points, six assists and four rebounds Friday. Mike Scott initially was announced as Millsap's replacement, but the Hawks changed their starting lineup to Teague, Mack, Kyle Korver, DeMarre Carroll and Elton Brand.

Description: Hawks backup PG Shelvin Mack started Friday with Jeff Teague sitting and came up big for the Hawks and fantasy owners who took a gamble on him.
Insight: Mack posted 21 points four rebounds and six assists as his replacement and should be the PG to have on Saturday. Teague has now suffered two ankle sprains in the span of a month. It's possible if Mack continues to play at this level the change could be permanent.

Description: Hawks backup PG Shelvin Mack is questionable for Friday's game against Dallas due to a sprained left ankle.
Insight: Mack was one of the Atlanta guards to miss the Wednesday game.

Description: Wizards PG Shelvin Mack has been waived. He started at point guard in the first two games following his call-up from the D-League but quickly lost the job to Garrett Temple.
Insight: Mack averaged 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in seven games. Washington will go with Temple until John Wall is able to return from a season-long knee injury.

Description: Point guard Shelvin Mack will play Friday despite a groin injury and continue to start for Washington.
Insight: Mack put up six points, six rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two threes in his season debut Wednesday against Cleveland. His callup from the NBA D-League has bumped Jordan Crawford to the bench, but Crawford still scored 17 points on 7-15 shooting Wednesday and shouldn't be affected too much by the move.
