Los Angeles Clippers (34-16) at Denver Nuggets (22-23), 9 p.m.
(SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Clippers will make a quick pit stop in Denver to take on the Nuggets Monday at the Pepsi Center before returning to L.A. for a lengthy homestand.
The Clippers were able to get back on the winning side of things with Saturday's 102-87 victory over the Utah Jazz, as Jamal Crawford scored 27 points off the bench and Blake Griffin added 25 points with 11 rebounds.
DeAndre Jordan totaled 10 points, 14 boards and three blocks, while Darren Collison finished with 11 points and six assists for the Clippers, who bounced back from Thursday's loss to Golden State and have won 11 of 14 games.
"Our offense started clicking in the second half," Crawford said. "We were able to create energy. We found our rhythm."
Los Angeles shot 51.4 percent for the game, but made only 2-of-12 3-pointers.
The Clippers will begin a five-game homestand Wednesday versus Miami.
Denver has lost two in a row and five of seven games, and is coming off Friday's 100-90 loss to the Toronto Raptors.
J.J. Hickson had 18 points and 13 rebounds, Evan Fournier also had 18 points and Randy Foye contributed 10 points and 16 assists for the Nuggets, who are 0-2 on a four-game homestand and shot 45 percent from the floor. Kenneth Faried (12), Wilson Chandler (10) and Quincy Miller (10) rounded out the double-digit scorers for Denver.
"Everybody is frustrated," said Fournier. "Ty Lawson and Nate Robinson not playing is tough for us but we cannot make excuses. We just have to keep playing."
Lawson (shoulder) is probable for Monday and leads the Nuggets in points (17.9) and assists (8.9) this season.
The Nuggets will close the homestand Wednesday versus Milwaukee and dropped a 112-91 decision to the Clippers on Dec. 21 at Staples Center. The Clippers have lost 11 of the past 13 trips to the Mile High City.
