Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bulls prevented LeBron James from making a trip to the foul line in their 95-88 overtime victory against the Miami Heat on Sunday. With Jimmy Butler as his primary defender, James scored 17 points on 8-of-23 shooting from the field. In addition, James did not attempt a free throw in a game for the first time since Dec. 2, 2009. Butler recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and one block. His block came against James in the final second of regulation. Joakim Noah had 20 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks for the Bulls, who have split the first two games of a six-game homestand. D.J. Augustin tallied 22 points. Dwyane Wade ended with 25 points for the Heat, who have lost three in a row. Chris Bosh donated 15 points.

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jodie Meeks pumped some life back into the Lakers, scoring a career-high 42 points in Los Angeles' 114-110 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. Meeks went 6-of-11 from beyond the arc and 14-of-14 from the foul line for the Lakers, who snapped an ugly three-game skid that included a 48-point loss to the Clippers on Thursday. Pau Gasol added 20 points and 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, which went 13-of-31 from 3-point range. Jordan Farmar and Ryan Kelly each tallied 12 points. Kevin Durant recorded his sixth career triple-double with 27 points, 12 assists and 10 boards for the Thunder, who have lost two in a row since a three-game winning streak. Serge Ibaka donated 21 points and 15 rebounds for Oklahoma City, which went 12-of-35 from beyond the arc. Russell Westbrook added 20 points, eight assists and seven rebounds.
