|Utah Jazz 2012 Draft Preview |
|By John McMullen, NBA Editor |
A year after snaring Enes Kanter and Alec Burks in the lottery the Utah Jazz don't figure to be players this time around since they only possess the 47th overall pick.
That doesn't mean they aren't trying to get it on the fun, however. The Jazz are actively trying to acquire a first-round pick in an effort to draft Weber State point guard Damian Lillard.
Lillard, who most rate as the top point guard in the draft and would be the long term replacement for Deron Williams in Salt Lake City, is expected to go late in the lottery so accomplishing that is easier said than done.
