Seven days after limiting the Twins to one earned run in six innings, the White Sox righthander again surrendered only one earned run but this time it was over eight frames. Peavy also contributed eight strikeouts in the win.
Insight: Peavy (9-7, 3.04 ERA) is now 2-1 versus the Twins in 2012 with a 2.25 ERA. Against the rest of the league, he's 7-6 with a 3.16 ERA.

The most important thing is that the White Sox right-hander is healthy through 14 starts this season, as he's been thoroughly dominant, holding batters to a .202 BAA and registering a WHIP of 0.94.
