However, fantasy owners should keep him in the lineup, even with nasty Yu Darvish on the hill Thursday. | Insight: Hunter has become a hard groundball hitter over the last two seasons -- he had a groundball rate of 52 percent and hit .327 on grounders last year, and has a groundball rate of 55.8 percent and is hitting .333 on grounders in 2013 -- which has enabled him to hit for a BABIP in the .380s. However, his BABIP over the first 27 games of the season was well above .400, and it wasn't going to stay there forever. He has gone 6-for-18 (.333) with one homer and five RBI against Darvish, so he might be able to jump-start his bat Thursday. | | |
