Description: Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias went 2-for-4 with the game-winning RBI-single in the ninth as Detroit beat the Chicago White Sox, 2-1.
Insight: With his two hits, Iglesias raised his batting average to .484, which is quite impressive for the defensive-minded shortstop even if it is only 10 games. He still doesn't have much power and won't drive in runs hitting ninth, but Iglesias is outplaying owners expectations through a week and a half.

Description: Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias will get Saturday off.
Insight: No injury, just a routine day of rest. Given that he's started the season 9-for-15 (.600), he probably would prefer to be out there. Andrew Romine will get the start.

Iglesias is batting an incredible .857 in the first two games and has shown off tremendous speed on the base paths. On Wednesday, he scored from first on a double. Iglesias will obviously not keep up the batting average, but he might be a budding star in one of the best lineups in the American League.

Description: Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias injured his right shin while trying to steal a base and left Friday's game against the Mets.
Insight: Iglesias' owners should be concerned as he missed last season due to stress fractures in both shins. He didn't seem too concerned after the game, but this is worth watching. he batted .303 in 350 at-bats when he last played in 2013.

Insight: The former Red Sox and current Tigers infielder batted .303 last season with a .735 OPS in 350 at-bats and was looked on as a nice low-cost shortstop option for fantasy owners. You will have to be hesitant about choosing him at this point, or at least until we hear from today's doctor.
