Insight: While the Nationals have Stephen Strasburg, Jordan Zimmermann and Gio Gonzalez, it's been Fister (11-3, 2.49 ERA, 1.07 WHIP) and Tanner Roark (11-7, 2.94 ERA, 1.09 WHIP) who have been their two best starters this season. Fister has allowed two earned runs or less in 12 of his 16 starts this season.

Insight: Fister spent the first five weeks of the season on the disabled list with a strained lat and allowed nine hits and seven runs (five earned) over 4 1/3 innings in his 2014 debut on May 9. He's posted an ERA in the range of 3.33-3.67 in each of the last three seasons and should improve now that he's in the NL East.

Insight: Fister's injury means Taylor Jordan and Tanner Roark will both be in the starting rotation. Roark was 7-1 with a 1.51 ERA and a 0.91 WHIP last season while Jordan went 1-3 with a 3.66 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP. It's obvious Roark is the better fantasy option.
